One of my friends invited me to Seattle to celebrate his birthday with him back in July 2025. We stayed at this property, and I was immediately impressed by the service, amenities, and incredible views from our hotel room. The hotel's Denny Triangle location was also great for exploring the city. The area is walkable. I could easily access nearby neighborhoods and attractions such as Capitol Hill and Pike Place Market, and I felt safe walking around and exploring during both day and night. On several occasions, my friend and I also got food and drinks on the property with his colleagues since his birthday overlapped with a work trip to Seattle. The restaurants and bar spaces we visited were all comfortable and well-appointed. My personal favorite was the restaurant/bar on the second floor that had the feel of a laidback whiskey lounge. It was spacious and offered enough privacy for my friend and his colleagues to have their daily debriefs and strategy sessions there. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency Seattle, and I would recommend the property to others seeking a modern hotel with excellent amenities.

This was a beautiful hotel in a prime location downtown. I didnt drive or have a car while staying here but each morning, both Uber and Lyft would arrive within 1-2 minutes. We ate dinner our first night here and although there weren't a ton of options it was pretty decent. The rooms were clean but I dont think maid service comes daily because I was here 2 nights and they didnt come, but I also did not need them. My biggest complaint is that I personally would prefer a tub and there was only a shower. Check in was pretty empty and easy, but I think I was supposed to officially "check out" but didnt because I left for my meeting and took my bags and went straight to the train from there. So I never got my check out receipt which I would've assumed would've been sent an email. So now I need to call them or ask about it when I go back this week to make sure I get it for my expense report for work.

Hyesung was awesome! Thank you for your help!! We were there for Freya Skye and he helped more than he needed to!! Thanks again!! Only weird thing for me is the fact that there aren't any fans in the restroom.

We loved our stay here for a few nights for a convention for our son. They gave us a room with the beautiful water view (west facing), and my parents got a north facing room that was perfect to watch fireworks at Lake Union from for my little nieces on July 4th. The rooms and entire facility/building was modern and clean, and the staff were all welcoming and quick to respond to us. Location-wise, it was an easy two block walk to the convention center. It was also about a 15 minute walk to Pike Place; and a 20 minute walk to Lake Union for fireworks. We found it to be well located and safe.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Seattle. Big with a lot of amenities - gym, bar, restaurant, etc. the hotel and rooms and nicely decorated. Modern and contemporary. One of our rooms had a shower and the other had a tub. Make a requesting you need something specific. They have very nice gym, which we don't use but checked out. Walking distance to Pikes Place Market and Starbucks Reserve is about 10 minutes depending on your walking pace. Good location if you plan to sight see downtown Seattle.

Great location and I love the workout room--it's large with so many windows so the sunlight slash light are so nice. Also the Peloton bikes!! The bar and restaurant are also very nice. It's walkable to downtown and some nice restaurants, coffee shops, and stores, and public transit and lots of Ubers are out-and-about. Service is nice! I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste and they brought up the nice mini tube.

Great location and nice rooms. Tower hotel with a couple restaurants at the bottom of it plus a small lobby bar. Good for business or casual travel. Good location to get to everything and a short 15 min walk to pikes place

I was very impressed with this hotel. The service was excellent, the hotel is really well managed and the location is excellent. There is an expansive gym and good food options on property and nearby. The decor is modern and airy and the views are amazing.

Really nice hotel that's within walking distance to Pikes and the Starbucks reserve (though different directions). The decor is really nice with modern accents but it feels comfortable, too. There's a floor that has a really nice "market" where you can buy food, snacks, coffee, etc. There was also comfy seating, places to hang out, and a steakhouse towards the back. The gym was also a good size and had machines and also open spaces to work out. Our party had two different rooms - one with a shower and the other with a tub. Both had window nooks/ledges where you could sit and enjoy the view. It's also close enough to walk to other good eateries.

The hotel is modern and clean. The front desk is well-staffed and efficient. I was given a room on the 43rd floor and it was quiet with a good view. A colleague of mine got the view of the Seattle Great Wheel! The beds were on the softer side (1 star off), but still comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. I stayed here for a conference at the Seattle Convention Center and it was a convenient 5 minute walk away. It was also a convenient 15 minute walk to Pike's Place Market. It is situated in a good location for walking around...as long as the weather is nice, that is.

This hotel is AMAZING and I can't wait to come back! The room was nice, clean and spacious. The hotel sits right in the water and has a restaurant attached to it. The restaurant tis pricey but the food was good and the drinks were great. Lastly there is a store and coffee shop off from the lobby.

Is this hotel family/kid friendly? Any concerns in location and what would you say is main difference with this location and Hyatt grand?

Is Regency club open? What are hours and what is fee (family of 4)? Thank you!

I really want a room with a shower and a seperate soaking tub, what type of room offers this?

    One of their suites

Is there a restaurant on property?

    Yes there is.

What time does the gym open and close?

I'm not sure of the time but you will need to sign a waiver and sign-up for a time to go to the gym.

If you rent a car, is there parking?

There is on-site valet parking and self-parking. There's also overnight parking across the street that's slightly cheaper.

How much is the regency club fee?

    65.00 per day

Is there parking at the Hyatt?

I don't think they have a parking lot. There are other public parking garages nearby.

The staff definitely leave something to be desired. I found them a mixture of condescending and rude. We requested early check in and where informed our room was not ready. Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

He wasn't phased. He had the personality to a wet sock. The manager was running in and out behind the counter. Nothing was happening or being communicated to me. Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There's no microwave. There's no condiments for coffee or tea. There's a Nespresso maker for those people who enjoy Nespresso. I'm not one who particularly enjoys Nespresso. There were no pods anywhere. I asked for some at the front desk and I was told that it's hidden in the room somewhere. It's Christmas not Easter and I'm not going to play hide and seek for the crappy coffee. The furnishings were modern and cold. The lack of the little niceties that are standard everywhere else aren't here. The least they could have done was provide quality customer service and not by someone who seems like they would be better off employed in a funeral home. When we came back and our room was ready, my husband did call down and mentioned it was our anniversary since they had confirmed in previously but we didn't see anything in the room, and they were very kind to bring up a little treat for us including some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. The room itself was spacious and clean with a great view of the city (we had a corner view). The bath tub had a fun feature (water to fill the tub came from a ceiling faucet rather than attached to the tub. The towels were large and fluffy and overall ambience was relaxing with a couch in the room. Check out was smooth and they had our bill ready and everything was easy/correct so we did not have to worry. We also did have late check out, which was pleasant as we could have a leisurely morning. We did try the restaurant (All Water) both for dinner and brunch the next day. Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

The main issues I had were as follows: - A lot of the "extra perks" disappeared. When I checked in last time, I was greeted warmly and gifted a glass of champagne. I don't expect that exact thing every time, but when staying at a premium hotel like this, little things really make the experience a lot more enjoyable. It felt starkly different this time in terms of the service and generosity -- much more generic. - My room was far noisier than my previous visit. I'm not sure what changed, but I could hear noises from other units and from the street much more loudly this time. - On noise, the AC unit in my room this time was much noisier as well. Generally speaking, I still think this is a great hotel, but I had a disappointing experience this time vs my prior stay. I will give it another shot next time, but with caution.

The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. The fitness center is small: just two treadmills, one recumbent bike, an elliptical, a peloton, and many dumbbells, but I had no problem getting a treadmill run in each morning before 9 am. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. You might want to check Spot Hero or similar to see if you can get a better deal on parking nearby. Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years.
