Here's my recent experience, if you don't want details: long story short they didn't keep their promises, took forever to have the car ready, and try way to hard to pressure you. DON'T GO HERE!Would give 0 stars if I could. Called in and spoke to Anthony about if their cars were negotiable (said yes) and I wanted to come in to LOOK, he seemed cool at first and invited me over. First off their lot has no customer parking, you'll be lucky to find a spot on the lot. After meeting in person he started to give a proper tour of the lot showing cars I may be interested in, none of them were very appealing but we were keeping an open mind. He started being very pushy about cars after the tour( he would rush to pull one out for a test drive when we mentioned we'd just like more details about it like he was in a hurry to make a sale which just resulted in more time being wasted). After entertaining him and test driving, you can tell those vehicles had something off about them. I asked about 2 different cars and he seemed very uninterested in talking about them saying "Those will take too long to get ready, you don't want those" You'll see the irony of this later down the story my oh my. So We saw this Jetta that looked semi decent but was missing a hub cap and had a dead battery which wouldn't start. My girlfriend liked it and it was for her so we decided to sit down and talk business. They're asking price was "$5500" but they did me a favor and "hooked me up" to "$4999" which I knew was bs, thats a common sale technique. I told them that car is in rough shape and I personally don't see it worth anything over $4100. He asked his manager who basically said thats such a low ball offer and they seemed offended which is funny cause when I finally had service and looked up the value of the car it was around $3900 LOL. I had a bad feeling about the place and especially about the car that wouldn't start so I expressed those feelings that I'd like to keep looking around since that was the first dealership I visited that day and Anthony tried playing the classic sob story technique guilt tripping me saying "I've been with you for hours and I could of been helping other customers (we were only there for 2 and they're was only one other pair of customers) but I thought you were serious( I was until I saw how pushy and shady they were acting)." I expressed my opinion on how I think that car is going to be a big problem especially cause we don't know how it runs and I said if we can get a more realistic price on it then we'll run the deal (I was paying in full btw). After a while of him talking to the owner he said "I'm gonna get in trouble for this, but I will put $100 of my own commission just for you." Like... BS! Who in their right mind would put money out of their commission for you to buy a car? Especially when that commission is already so low!! That was the final red flag and I said no I don't feel right buying this car. I should have definitely left at this point but my idiot self stayed to make sure my girl was happy. He then was like here let me show you something, took me to the office and showed me the ultimate BS board. It was a board with a majority of referrals and he promised me he'd make sure the car ran great and everything cause their business is based on "referrals." I was in an annoyed mood already so I told my girl the decision is yours cause its going to be your car but I don't feel right about this. Yup you guessed it, she said she wanted it. So being the good bf as I am we got it. We agreed with anthony that it'd have state inspection(they made it seem like they were doing me a favor when EVERY car dealership offers to do it with purchase), new battery, new hubcap, and I specifically told him to fill the tank with gas and he said yes. He told me before the sale that it'd be ready next day and then after the sale he said it'd be ready 3-4 days. Cool another red flag but too late now. Guess how long I waited till it was ready? Wrong it was a full 2 weeks! That Jetta failed state inspection and after not getting no updates after purchase we had to continuously call just to know what was going on. Apparently Anthony was gone those full 2 weeks and upon finally getting ahold of the owner I specifically asked for a copy of the failed inspection for my records and to this day they still won't send it to me. After picking up the vehicle, it looked decent, smelled weird inside, and the very last thing to conclude this terrible experience...When I bought the car it had the stock pioneer luxury touch screen double din radio. Upon picking up it had some old VW stock single din radio from like 2004 that didn't work. Not only that but guess what wasn't filled, the gas tank. Little stuff that adds up like that is just damn right terrible for a dealership. Moral of the story is go with your gut and get away from these shady dealers and find a good one that will hold their promises to you. read more
