Our AC suddenly stopped working on Thurs afternoon of the July 4th long weekend! Just was blowing…read morehot air. It was 100 degrees outside that day and a hot weekend ahead. I made a few calls to local AC & Heating companies at 4pm and AOL luckily had someone in the area that could come take a look. It was considered an 'emergency' so I knew I would pay a premium call out, but had to have my AC working that weekend! Avi came out with his worker an hour later. They cleared a plumbing problem in my hot attic and went on the roof and recharged the Freon. They indicated I probably have a small minor leak somewhere that will need to be addressed after the summer months, but they managed to fix the AC (at least short term) thankfully that weekend and its still running ok a few weeks later. Big shout out to Avi and AOL - will be back in touch with them in Oct...

I subsequently discovered that the equipment appeared to be used, despite being sold to me as new. I paid for a new AC system and feel completely misled about what I received. An AC unit should not break down after just one week, and finding out that the equipment may have been used makes the situation even more frustrating. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to verify the equipment's condition, model, and serial number before installation. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this contractor.

This was my first time using their services but when I needed a new central HVAC for my home, I…read morewent through Costco and Around the Clock is their current subcontractor. Michael handled all the business and clearly explained to me in my home what equipment options were available (all Lennox via Costco) and what payment options and benefits were available to Costco members. I took a few different estimates from other companies and although I found comparable equipment and installations that might have priced out cheaper than Around the Clock, the benefits received from Costco for CostcoCash along with direct cash refunds made them very appealing. Michael is very patient in the process of answering any and all questions regarding the equipment, installation, etc. The installation was smooth and painless. The team of two installers were polite and professional. They worked clean which is greatly appreciated. The installation took about a day and a half. End result: I'm very satisfied with my experience with Around the Clock. A very professional installation with great customer service. The new system has completely transformed the comfort level of my home. It's already been battle tested in this SGV summer and I couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence in deciding whether or not Around the Clock is a vendor you'd like to use, I whole heartedly recommend them.

The first tech found "no issues" and left. *Inflated $2,401 Quote: On visit #2, they finally confirmed the failing ECM motor and quoted $2,401.20 out of pocket, claiming it was out of warranty. *Active 10-Year Warranty Ignored: I called the manufacturer (Carrier/Day & Night) directly and verified the unit is under an active 10-year Enhanced Parts Warranty ($0 OEM part cost at the counter). *Refused Warranty Exchange: After I provided the official Carrier registration confirmation number, they admitted they aren't an authorized Carrier dealer and insisted I pay the entire $2,401 upfront and wait on a potential $1,151 reimbursement. Even with their math, they were charging over $1,250 in pure labor for a 2-hour swap.
