He opened them up and he even replaced a missing air filter from the air intake and didn't charge us extra for it. I appreciate Energy Solutions for being honest, friendly and thorough. I appreciated the ease of setting up the appointment. They even went out of their way after business hours to confirm the appointment via text message. The next morning, Eric, the technician, called me and started communication on the issue. Eric is a fantastic communicator and was able to diagnose the issue very quickly and explain in layman's terms the problem. None of the usual upselling, which again, I highly appreciated. He sent a picture via text and called me since I could not be at the property. I have dealt with other HVAC companies with poor communication so I have to emphasize that Bay Air Flow's response time and communication are 10/10, which is a breath of fresh air, pun intended. I can highly recommend Bay Air Flow if you're having HVAC issues. Thank you.

That is what they do: they're family-owned and have been doing this for a long time. I needed my 40-year-old upstairs and downstairs furnaces replaced and met with a total of 5 companies- one who said they were "family owned" was actually owned by a private equity firm, and another did plumbing and furnaces, and their estimate was 45% over everyone else, and they did not send me a detailed quote- just the total price. From the moment I made the first call, I was impressed: professional, organized. The estimator was great- no hard sell, explained everything in detail; their quote was very reasonable. They answered all my questions, showed up on time for the install, did the work efficiently, and everything works great. The permit and inspection went smoothly; they were there throughout the entire process. Super impressed and appreciative; Atlas was easy peasy to deal with. Don't look any further.

What I appreciated most was that he didn't just start replacing parts. He thoroughly diagnosed the system, explained what he was testing, and walked me through the results. He showed me that the capacitor was testing low, the contactor was worn and pitted, and even performed a megger test on the compressor to verify it was still healthy. After the repairs, he confirmed everything was working properly by showing me the compressor amperage had dropped back to normal and that the system had an 18-degree temperature split. Keon was patient with all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. He explained the pros and cons of the recommended repairs, including the hard-start kit, so I could make an informed decision instead of feeling pressured. I really appreciated his transparency and professionalism. By the time he was done, our AC was cooling properly again, and he even worked with us on the final price. If you're looking for an HVAC technician who is knowledgeable, honest, thorough, and takes the time to educate his customers, I highly recommend Keon Garcia. I was a new homeowner in 2022 when Vic (the owner) and his company, Elite Comfort Systems, saved my…read morefamily (including the feline members) from sweltering in 100+F degree weather by diagnosing and repairing my air conditioner. Since then, they've serviced the almost 22 year old system at my home, nursing it along. With each semi-annual "check-up" service, they advised me on what I needed to do, and what could wait. When funds were tight, they suggested stopgaps to help. Because of this history, when Alex showed me that my heater was leeching carbon monoxide into my home, I knew I could trust him. While I waited for my appointment, I was provided with space heaters gratis. This IS an independently owned business, and they treat customers like family. Ozzy (Osvaldo) and Anthony installed a new heat pump and air conditioner for me last week. They were at my home three days. Not only were they professional, friendly, and polite, they were also respectful of my home--taking time EVERY day to cover my carpeted areas, covering their boots as they came into and exited the house, and cleaning up any installation debris before they left each day. Ozzy and Anthony discovered that a part of the original system was not going to work as efficiently with the new system (the dampers) given the difference in the size. Ozzy explained the difference to me, noted the cost, and the pros and cons. He didn't pressure me to upgrade the items but he made sure I had enough information to make a decision. At the end of the installation, Ozzy took the time to show me how to use the new digital thermostat controls and gave me tips on how to use the system economically. He provided me information on how to follow up if there were ever any problems. Just like other times, Vic called a few days later to see how things were going (I missed the call, but still...so so kind and thoughtful). It's a lot of money to replace your entire HVAC system, no matter which company you use, but hiring one where you know you can trust the company. Simply put, you'll never have worries about trusting Elite Comfort Systems.
