After trying a few other bars in the area, Sharks & Shooters quickly became our go-to spot. The biggest reason is the amazing atmosphere. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with a warm welcome from Jess, Jen, Ang, and of course Quinn, depending on who's working. They are all fantastic, attentive, and genuinely make you feel like you're at home rather than just another customer. What really sets this place apart is not only the staff but also the people who come in. As newcomers to Rocky Mount, we weren't sure what to expect, but the regulars and locals have been incredibly friendly and welcoming. It's rare to find a place where both the staff and customers make you feel like part of the community from day one. One experience that truly shows how much they care was when we were having trouble getting an Uber home because the driver couldn't find where we lived (yes, lol!). Instead of just wishing us luck, the Sharks & Shooters team went above and beyond to make sure we got home safely. They helped us find a driver, Nick, who was absolutely fantastic. That level of kindness and customer care is hard to find these days and says a lot about the people who work there.
