I had an extremely unpleasant and unprofessional experience with Huston Cadillac's sales department. It took three business days plus a weekend to reach what should have been a reasonable price on their Yukon. This was, by far, the longest and most inefficient negotiation process I've ever experienced when purchasing a vehicle. Simple requests for updated deal sheets with different scenarios routinely took hours to receive. After significant effort on both sides, I ultimately decided to move forward with another dealer who had a better equipped vehicle available. This was a last minute decision, but it was my choice to make as the customer and buyer. I made a point to inform Justin and Richard before closing time that I would not be coming in. Despite this, Justin proceeded to repeatedly harass me into the next morning. Both individuals attempted to make me feel guilty for my decision, as if I had done something wrong. Trying to make it seem like they all stayed after hours to make this happen. During this exchange, Justin was especially rude, unprofessional, and immature. Making comments that no customer should ever be subjected to. To make matters worse, the following day they ran my credit again without any valid reason or authorization, after the deal had already been canceled. This appeared to be done out of spite and was completely inappropriate. I understand that losing a sale is frustrating and that the auto industry is competitive, but sales professionals should still maintain basic standards of professionalism and respect. Management should also take responsibility for the conduct of their staff and the way they represent the company. My advice, consider shopping elsewhere. You may be surprised how much better the pricing and overall experience can be sometimes just 30 minutes away. read more

I have been going to Huston Cadillac for service on my 2023 Cadillac Escalade, that I did not buy from Huston, for over two years and my service advisor is Jim Maggart. Jim is the best! He always greet you with a smile and a handshake and has taken care of any issues or service for my vehicle without any problems or hold up at all. I commend the service team and especially Jim. I liked the dealership so much that I traded my 2023 Escalade for a brand new 2025 Escalade and could not be happier. Great service and sales departments! I have been going through so much with this dealership so I do not recommend anyone to get your car repaired from these people. From not properly plugging my oil pan to leaving my car for over a week parked and no one knew it was there after I towed it. My car is full of roaches from where they parked it. I had an alignment and within a month needed another making me think they never did it. I spoke to the owner and he tried to sell me a new car! Well, if I listen to your service department and followed their so called expert advice I would be out $8500.00. The recommended $1300.00 heated seat repair was a bad solder joint and connector. $11.00 part. Get this, they claimed my motor was bad with piston slap and needed replacement. They had 3 of their best mechanics drive and they all came to they same conclusion. They didn't put it on the rack. They didn't do a compression check. They didn't scope it...just drove it. Clueless. The sound I was hearing was a loose heat shield and a bad motor mount...$130.00 part 1/2 hour labor. Stay away from these crooks...Management replied to my original review and thought I was crazy to put $$$ in a 11year old Escalade Ext. Please provide documentation of all the claims you shared in your review. Do not forget to include the text messages and emails that you are referring to. I do believe putting the text messages and emails you shared you have with the ones we have will show the progression of the situation and make things clear. As for me, I know I will not have an issue apologizing if needed and taking corrective action. I am in agreement with what Eric H.'s review shared regarding the way to get a response is to post a review. Instead, I spent endless hours trying to work with you all on it but we know what all has transpired since July. It appears it didn't matter that I followed the appropriate steps in trying to resolve these issues. All while you were pretty much ignoring your customer who leased two 2020 Cadillacs from you. My review is specifically of the Service Department and Mike Hamric. I purchased a Cadillac SRX from a dealership in Fort Myers, so Huston was the closest location to me to have all of my service done. After my first few visits, I encountered Mr. Hamric. Every since, I specifically request him when making appointments. He always goes above and beyond to ensure that his customers are satisfied. I recently had to purchase four new tires and was looking at close to $1000. I called and told him I was going to wait as I just couldn't afford that at the time. He informed me that if I found somewhere else that they were cheaper to come back and he could price match it. After hours of looking, I finally found somewhere that had them for a lower price. I called Mike and set up the appointment. Upon arriving, he told me that he had also found be a rebate to get some money back after purchase! On my next visit, I had a nail in one of those brand new tires. It was going to be $200 to replace, but because of Mike's patience and excellent customer service I was able to locate warranty paper work (that I had purchased with the original purchase of my vehicle) and was able to get the replacement tire for free. Mike is an amazing employee and asset to Huston. As long as he is there, I will keep bringing my business to him! read more

Unfortunately they don't allow ZERO stars for this review. This was the worst service experience I have ever had, in my 51 years of automobile ownership. The service personnel are merely salesmen trained with aggressive sales techniques. And when the 'fear' doesn't work, and the aggressive pushing of overpriced services you DO NOT need fail, they simply throw in a small service that you did not ask for and charge you for it anyway. I had been dragged along a long weekend, because my salesman was out of town, and made promises of securing the vehicle that we wanted, even if they didn't have the right one. Upon his return, I made my appointment and sat at the desk while the Manager run every possibility to put me in a Camaro that I had not asked for. We were searching for a vehicle that would fit in our budget. Because they couldn't do as they promised, they run the complete gambit of purchasing a car more than $10,000 more than wanted. The proof in the pudding is, my wife and I are still receiving the requests from financial institutes we didn't know existed. After receiving excellent service in my car buying process, I'm pleased to leave a shining review of Huston GMC, Cadillac, Buick, etc. On Sunday, I filled out an online contact form expressing interest in a particular truck. I received a prompt reply on Monday morning from a salesman named Joe Gagnon. Mr. Gagnon asked when I could come by and we made arrangements to meet later in the afternoon. As soon as we stepped inside the building, he greeted us kindly and walked us to the truck which he had already pulled around. We got in for a test drive and then went inside to talk details. Mr. Gagnon was great to work with. He was totally respectful, right to the point and absolutely not pushy. He worked with us and got us an excellent price, so we bought the truck right then. I was very impressed with his professional attitude and intimate knowledge of the products. I would have no trouble purchasing another GMC truck or any vehicle for that matter from Mr. Gagnon. However the dealership promised to hold my check until a check from another bank went through. This usually takes 7 to 10 days. They did not in fact they cashed the check that day. Causing me to have a charge of insufficient funds and $70 penalty. This is no reflection on Mr. Gagnon it was the financier who took this upon himself and no one else. To say the least I am not very happy with this particular dealership. But the truck itself rocks. read more

We bought a certified Lacrosse and had it serviced here. Buying it was great and we were treated very well until we had to use the service department. Que the first oil change - they put it up in the air for over 2 hours (for just an oil change!) and when it was done, the transmission went from shifting so smoothly, we thought it had a CVT to shifting hard. The manager asked us to bring the car back so that they could look at it. They kept it for two days, said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. They gave it back still broken. I recently had repair service performed at Huston Cadillac of Lake Wales, Florida, of which they had to replace the AC condenser and low pressure line, and changed 8 plugs and wires. The bill was $487.04 for parts, $1808.00 for labor, $160.65 tax, for a total of $2,455.69. This work took approximately 3 hours, which means they charged over $600.00 per hour for labor. I feel this is a classic case of highway robbery done in collusion with corporate GM. Customers beware! read more

I was disappointed with the first two salesmen I dealt with and after complaining to the Internet sales manager they referred me to a third who I thought would be better but he was always too busy for me. I built a truck the way I wanted it and sent it to him and later I was contacted saying we found a truck and to come up and look at making a deal, when I show up they show me other trucks not how I wanted which to me is just bait and switch. I had set up a time to deal with the salesman but when I get there he was again too busy for me and he just pushes me off to someone that was very pushy. I don't feel they really care and I was just a body instead of showing concern for the customer. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. I purchased a new escalade for my wife and paid well over sticker. NO PROBLEM AT ALL. The same day I purchased a Certified pre owned Cadillac ct6v. It was delivered a few days later. The salesman told me he did 110 mph on the way to my house because its a fast car. I was shocked at his honesty. I got in the car to go on a work trip and noticed that the brakes were squealing. Then I noticed acceleration was not working from a dead stop. The car would very slowly accelerate and then start picking up speed. Last but not least on the highway the alignment was getting worse and worse. This was my first time driving the car and I was furious. I told them i was bringing the car back and they tried to sell me several other used cars. I told them I wanted my money back and they said it was impossible for Bank of America to cancel the loan. The owner offered me $20,000 less than I paid for the car. I called B of A and they informed me that they would cancel the loan. Turns out the dealership will not send the money back. The car has been sitting there since i dropped it back off. I now get to spend money on attorneys and I am sure they will tie it up in court for years and years. Buyers beware. Customer will never be right here and they could care less how much you spend. I have bought and sold no less then 100 cars from dealers all over the country and yes they are the worst people ,if there lips are moving there lieing. sadly huston cadillac is no exception .I bought a camaro from Huston off eBay and had it shipped to az . I was told at least 5 times by 3 different salesman ,including the owner that there was no damage on the car or paint. upon receiving the vehicle ( 3 Weeks later ,when i was told 3 days to ship !! ) there was damage on the drivers side from hitting something with the front bumper and the hood had an inch and a half crack in the middle ,and a 1 inch paint bubble ,all very obvious . I was promised multiple times by the owner and salesman they would send me a $500 dollar rebate for the $2500 worth of damages they lied to me about. they have not sent me the 500 and i can't get them to talk or text me about the deal.i haven't even received the contract of the deal ,just a copy ,witch is a crime! they are to date the worst dealership I've ever dealt with, and thats a bold statement ! Was told everything was going fine but on the day to see (inspect) vehicle and test drive was told that my credit dropped by 50 points in a months time and therefore couldn't get the vehicle in question. I'm not one to write reviews, nor am I one to "blast" people but anyone considering purchasing anything from these people needs to run away as fast as they can. To consider them deceitful is an insult to people who are deceitful and you work to hard for you money to waste it here. I purchased a used boat from them prior to Memorial Day of this year. The boat was delivered (promised that it had been serviced) with the Check Engine alarm ringing. When I went through the diagnostic checks with their technician, he told me he couldn't find anything and to cut the buzzer wire. (Honest - I'll testify to this). Moreover, he said to run the boat to see how it performed and when we did, sure enough, it quit. Having had boats and knowing they can be an issue, I gave them another chance and asked them to "get me out of it" which they gladly did by selling me a newer boat that I purchased solely b/c it came with a five year warranty. When this boat was delivered (fully serviced), it ran for 4 hours before it quit in the middle of the lake due to a bad crank sensor. We changed this and continued to run it for the Labor Day weekend. When I dropped the boat at the local Mastercraft dealer for service, they informed me that the warranty was actually only 20 hours, not 5 years b/c the boat was used for commercial purposes before it was sold....at a price that reflected a 5 year warranty. In trying to seek resolution, they changed their story to it being "under warranty" b/c if I only ran it for 2 hours per year for the next five years, I'd be fine. So in summary, 1 summer, 2 boats, neither worked, both misrepresented, and no resolution. Run away. read more

Terrible experience. The sales manager was very nice and motivated prior to the sale. But, after driving a very raggedy and junky 2015 Cadillac, I decided to keep my Audi S4. We took our 2012 SRX to Huston because the headlights would not automatically switch over from daytime running lights to low beam. Huston installed new headlights and assemblies at a cost of $418.13 plus tax per headlight and $230.00 in labor. Total cost to replace two headlights was $1,145.91. I received a service department follow up phone call asking if I was satisfied with the service. I told the caller that I was outraged at the cost. That was in September and I haven't heard from then since. read more

My husband and I purchased a truck last week. This was the first time that we have purchased at Huston Cadillac GMC and we had a wonderful experience. We have purchased our last 6 trucks and SUVs from Kelly Buick GMC in Bartow and after the last purchase and horrible experience the only reason we continued to use their service center was thier manager, Louis Carpenter. When Louis left Kelly and went to Huston Cadillac GMC, we followed! Louis has always been the most pleasant, honest and great guy to work with. He has excellent customer service skills and takes care of his customers. Mark Riff (our salesman) at Huston was kind and made sure to keep us in the loop with everything that was going on during the buying process. Craig, the finance manager was also great. He and Mark stayed late on a Sat just to close this deal with us. Although it was after hours and they had been there all day they were both so nice, willing to answer questions and make sure all the paperwork was done right. Dealing with Mark and Craig made the process so pleasant and easy. After having such a horrific experience at Kelly Buick, it was so nice to deal with people that cared about their customers, helped us and made sure to contact us and keep us informed on everything. Louis, the service manager, is going to be a great asset to Huston, as he knows what customer service is and how to treat people. We live in North Lakleland (over an hour away) and pass at least 6 dealerships to get to Huston Cadillac GMC!! We will definitely be using Huston Cadillac GMC from now on and recommend that you get your vehicle serviced here as well!! read more

1st off, I paid extra to have 'the protector' put on my car and they didn't put it on. Had to bring it back. Have a 'wind noise' issue with my car that they can't fix and now they are treating my new car like it would be a trade-in. Any, they wanted me to pay $15,000 more for a car with a sticker price of only $4000 more than my car. What a rip-off dealership. This is absolutely unacceptable. I would never recommend them to anyone, not would I ever go back there. Absolutely horrible dealership. And, I'm not getting any satisfaction from GM. read more
