We thought that meant that you'd be exploring and ziplining all through the cavern, but no. It's a ropes course, and the course is pretty small, and you're not really going into the cavern, which is a bummer. They do have a separate zipline tour, which is maybe more adventurous, but I wouldn't know because we didn't do that one. The ropes course is for ages 5 and older. Louisville Mega Cavern also offers a walking cavern tour and a tram tour, plus a drive-through Christmas lights display around the holidays. Be sure to book your activities in advance! This place is very popular and gets very busy. One thing to note is that outside food and drink are supposedly not allowed. (Oops, my bad. I didn't find that out until I had finished my tasty little tuna-and-crackers snack.) They also have lockers to put your things in if you don't have someone hanging back at the tables to hold your stuff.

I repeated myself and he again told me it was my fault for not paying more money. I excused myself politely, took my business down the road to Purple Haze, and for the EXACT same price I paid the day prior I received a legitimate version of the item (a) I had originally wanted to purchase from the head shed as well as smiling faces and excellent customer service! All in all, employees are either improperly trained on the stores inventory or are properly trained in conning people for their money and the owner has the worst customer relations in the business. The first floor had some shops, including an art gallery and a ladies' accessory shop, but as you went higher, the more empty spaces prevailed. The second floor had a Kentucky gift store (which was pretty lame) and then the rest was devoted to some kind of kid themed activity center or a day care. We didn't even bother with the third floor. People of Lexington - you might want to consider revamping this space in some way if you are going to keep listing it in your tourist pamphlets and brochures. I am glad we didn't make a special trip here because it was pretty disappointing.

The entrance to Create is a toy store and it looked like they had a lot of fun items- I will definitely be back when looking for kids gifts. We were welcomed by the owners through the lego rainbow to join the party. My son was immediately so excited about all the fun activities that were set up! There were 3 sensory/play bins, a play dough station, and an art station arranged with tons of supplies for the party-goers to paint a doughnut. My son is a year and a half so he was mainly into the sensory bins. There was also a giant "cake" set up with colored shaving cream "paint" so the attendees could decorate the cake. I was a little worried that my son was making such a mess being pretty young, but the owners were really chill about it and encouraged him to participate! We had a great experience and I would love to go back to Create!
