Trailers Toys & More

I am the owner of Mikal's Jewelry & Pawn in Jacksonville Florida. I paid a $1,200.00 deposit for a…read moreEagle Sport 7x16 Cargo trailer with a motorcycle stealth package on January 27,2015 and was promised that it would be completed February 18,2015. I am not the type of person that call's every day to check the status of something that I was guaranteed to be done on a specific date, therefore since I did not hear anything on or before this date from this company I decided to follow up towards the end of February just to see what was going on, who knows maybe because they are so big that they forgot the pawn shop in Jacksonville, Florida that ordered a custom trailer and paid a $1,200.00 deposit in good faith that they would have it done in time. Well, here it is March 26,2015 two months later and still NO trailer! Now I can assure you that I was given a lot of reason's why this trailer is not ready from different people first person was Matt second person was Chris followed by Laurie as well as Terra these people also gave me their personal cell phone number's in hope's of making me feel better I guess? However still NO trailer !!! So, with all this being said, how would I rate this business and the advice that I would give to any consumer planning on conducting business with this company(Trailers Toys and More) would have to be put on hold until I see whether or not they are going to fulfill their promise as stated in their contract since they still have my $1,200.00 deposit. Chris, a salesman for Trailers Toys & More assured me that my trailer would be ready at the end of next week which is April 3,2015 if I was still interested. The final story I was given for this exhausting delay was the cost of two of the four tires being a $150.00 difference who would have ever guessed that any company after receiving a $1,200.00 deposit would use two tires on a dual axle trailer to be a excuse of why it has been over two months which is 8 weeks, to build a trailer that was promised to ready in 4 weeks. I have requested pictures of the progress for the last month and all I have gotten is excuse's. So after a conversation with Chris which was going no where except for the fact that he told me "he is just a salesman and that he has no control over building trailers or refunding money". I decided to send Trailer Toys & More a returned e-mail agreeing to pay $150.00 difference as well as stating the terms and conditions on having my trailer ready no later than Friday April 3,2015 or refund my $1,200.00 which I gave them eight weeks ago for a trailer that was suppose to be completed in four weeks. So with this being said my beginning experience was good, this company offered me a better price than the other companies and made me feel that they where competent trailer builders I really was convinced that Trailer Toys & More was going to do as they promised but for this past four weeks I honestly don't know what to think, you know the old saying "actions speak louder than words" and all I have received is words and very little action. Who knows, maybe Trailers Toys & More will surprise me and turn this back into a pleasurable experience, only time will tell; Friday April 3,2015 will be the determining factor. Feel Free to contact me after this date before committing to any agreement withTrailers Toys & More and I will let you know if they are reputable or not. Coachman Apex. I was happy with the deal we agreed on. Since last summer I have been back twice for various repairs. I try to save up repair requests so as to make one trip. This last visit saw the repair of a window crank, awning arm adjustment, oven repair, leaky skylight in the shower, electric cord repair, and installation on outdoor light. AJ and Curtis are the service managers, and Jason Carter was the technician that worked on my unit. He did a splendid job on all fronts and didn't even complain when I sat and watched for about an hour. When he was done, they helped me hook up so I could take it home. On February 26th 2016, I went to see some trailers at Trailer World Plus in Nashville Georgia. I…read moreknow that the website lists them in Chula Georgia, but that Chula address is a home, not a factory. The actual factory is in Nashville, Ga. Not sure why the website has wrong information on it. I had been told that Kevin Pitt would sell a trailer direct to the public without going through a dealer, so we asked to speak with Kevin. We agreed on a trailer, the cost, and I paid him the down payment. I was given an "estimated" build time of one week, however Kevin Pitt assured me that it could possibly be done faster because it was a small very simple trailer. On Monday March 7th, I called T.W.P. and Kevin answered the phone. I asked him if the trailer was ready to pick up and he said that he did not know. He stated that he would look into it and call me back within the hour. 5 hours later I still had not heard from him, so I called again. No answer this time, and he did not return the call. The following day I called the 800 number on the website and a lady answered the phone. I explained what I was calling about and she said that she would contact Kevin and call me back. She never called back either. Right before 5 I called them again. I was told by the lady that answered the phone that they had to order an axle for my trailer (not sure why a trailer manufacturer would not actually stock axles for their trailers) and that it should be in the next day. I was told that my trailer would be ready for pickup by the end of the day on Thursday March 10th. On Thursday I called and no one answered the phone at any of the phone numbers that I had. I sat on hold for a half hour while my call was not taken. Friday I called them again, and explained to the lady that I was getting frustrated at the situation and the fact that no one ever returned my calls, and that I kept getting put off on the delivery time. She told me that she would have Kevin call me back. Finally I did get a phone call from Kevin. I explained to him how unprofessional the whole thing was becoming. He assured me that he would get my trailer built in the next couple of days and "throw in some extras to show you that we are all about customer satisfaction". I asked him for a definitive delivery date. He told me that he would call me back (no I did not believe him at this point) with a pick up time. That phone call never came either. I stopped calling and gave them space to build my trailer. I did not hear from Kevin Pitt or trailer world plus again until I finally called them on Monday March 21st. Kevin answered the phone. I asked him what was going on with my trailer. Again, Kevin said that he did not know but that he would look into it and call me right back. I told him that he had never kept his word to me and returned my calls before and that I doubted that he would this time either. He assured me that he would keep it "this time". That phone call never came. I called Southern Trailer Depot on the following Tuesday. I left a message and my phone call was returned in a timely and professional manner. I am happy to say that on Wednesday March 23rd, I pulled out of Southern Trailer Depot with a beautiful new trailer, at a great price, and was completely satisfied with the level of service I received from them. At this point I would not put a Trailer World Plus trailer behind my truck if Kevin Pitt was paying ME to do so. In all the years that I have done business with a wide range of business people, I have never, EVER had such horrible service as what I received from Kevin Pitt and Trailer World Plus.

Go somewhere else, please--these are not honest people…read more If you ever have a problem, they'll never call you back. The "technicians" have no idea what they're really doing and the management don't care to assist you, unless it's scamming you out of money. We bought a used camper from them and less than 3 months later it needed a new roof membrane, even though they had installed a new one before we purchased it. Short story is, they did not properly secure the roof membrane to the frontcap of the camper. Since it was an installation error, I assumed that they would stand behind their work--I assumed wrong. Repairs came out of my pocket, but at least I spent that money elsewhere. This place is a brick-and-mortar scam shop!

Do I have to post 1 star? Are negative stars an option?…read more Salesman goofed. His inventory sheet was off. He was adamant that the trailer I wanted had a tankless system. Multiple times I mentioned the deal was great IF he was selling me an Imagine with a tankless. Another dealership was even questioning how Camper RV was making money at that advertised price. On the walkthrough, it was made known the trailer I bought was NOT tankless. These goons brought over their 6'5 "manager" to tell me "you got a great deal. You should have read the brochure to know that doesn't have a tankless" 100% discounting the salesman's promise. They did drop install fee for camera and vents. After this attempted shake down by their version of Sloth from the goonies. Be warned. I should have trusted Yelp and other reviews vs believe I was getting a great deal. These folks do not appreciate customers. If that person was not the "heavy" sent to scare/intimidate me, and he is just only person that was available - - then they need to understand the optics and have Lurch take classes in customer service, voice inflection, and manners. He would make a blind deaf person cry.
