I wanted to pick it up on Friday May 30th, which is just shy of 3 weeks by the weekend. I thought, worse case, I'd wait around until Monday but really wanted it Friday or even Saturday. I called several times wanting a firm completion date during the 3 week build time. I am not from Georgia but bought a truck down there and thought I'd get the trailer at the same time. I could never get a straight answer as to a specific completion date. On the 30th, the day I wanted to pick it up Crystal finally called and said it should be done that day so I agreed to pick-it up on the following day. When I arrived on Saturday after driving for 4 hours I was told it should be done on Monday but could not guarantee it. I had to decide weather to get a hotel for 2 days and hope it would be done on Monday or forget it all together and get my credit card company to refund my deposit. I left, and an hour later Crystal called and said it is completed and ready for pick-up. I went back, completed the paper work and drove away with it. I've hauled it for 3,000 miles now and am happy with the build quality. They built it per spec except a 7x12 trailer is actually 6'9"x11'9" and it was completed in 3 weeks. The most frustrating thing is the lack of definitive answers during the build process. It was very difficult to get them to return phone calls and have any level of certainty about completion. I have left-out lots of the details of frustrating conversations for brevity. There have been lots of negative reviews under other business names they have used on the internet. If they had drastically improved communications with me during the build process, I would have gladly given them a higher rating.

Its been a dream of mine to get something like this when I started my business 15 years ago as a young adult. I called Husky Cargo and paid deposit of $6850.00. They called me 8 weeks later and said it was ready. Beforehand I had asked for pictures which they supplied. I drove all the way up to their previous location in GA to find a trailer that was crooked from the front to the end (think about the shape of a banana). At this point I did not feel it was correct to take home a trailer that was not able to drive home safely. My dream trailer was quickly becoming a nightmare - I refused to take the trailer at the time, with promises from Husky that they would correct the finished trailer, build me a new trailer or refund me my money. I was assured by the head guy at the shop said they would fix it. I know how these things work it needed to be rebuilt. 2 weeks later I get a call from the owner Mike Gatewood (Aug. 2014) telling me he will build me a new trailer because he can't give me my money back. Then on Oct. 14 Mike tells me he hasn't started it yet, I said that's fine my business is now hurting because I needed this trailer for events and if he could please just give me my money back. At this point he said he could not until he sells the original crooked trailer. I was still being as patient as possible, at the time I asked to show evidence of ads posted to sell the original trailer. I asked this because I would like to keep track and expedite a future trailer purchase as not having a trailer was becoming a very bad issue for our company. I did not receive a response (Dec 14). I have now lost all communication with owner, he will not respond to any communication method. I attempt to get a hold of someone at their location and was informed that that trailer sold. At this time requested my money and the accounting lady informs me that she will contact me later with payment information. Now more than 2 month later and over 7 months since the original order date - I have no trailer or money. We have filled a police report and of course its ongoing. PLEASE anyone think twice about doing business with these people PLEASE read my story I am a hard working business owner and this trailer situation with this company has left me with empty pockets and unfilled promises."

This last visit saw the repair of a window crank, awning arm adjustment, oven repair, leaky skylight in the shower, electric cord repair, and installation on outdoor light. AJ and Curtis are the service managers, and Jason Carter was the technician that worked on my unit. He did a splendid job on all fronts and didn't even complain when I sat and watched for about an hour. When he was done, they helped me hook up so I could take it home. On February 26th 2016, I went to see some trailers at Trailer World Plus in Nashville Georgia. I…read moreknow that the website lists them in Chula Georgia, but that Chula address is a home, not a factory. The actual factory is in Nashville, Ga. Not sure why the website has wrong information on it. I had been told that Kevin Pitt would sell a trailer direct to the public without going through a dealer, so we asked to speak with Kevin. We agreed on a trailer, the cost, and I paid him the down payment. I was given an "estimated" build time of one week, however Kevin Pitt assured me that it could possibly be done faster because it was a small very simple trailer. On Monday March 7th, I called T.W.P. and Kevin answered the phone. I asked him if the trailer was ready to pick up and he said that he did not know. He stated that he would look into it and call me back within the hour. 5 hours later I still had not heard from him, so I called again. No answer this time, and he did not return the call. The following day I called the 800 number on the website and a lady answered the phone. I explained what I was calling about and she said that she would contact Kevin and call me back. She never called back either. Right before 5 I called them again. I was told by the lady that answered the phone that they had to order an axle for my trailer (not sure why a trailer manufacturer would not actually stock axles for their trailers) and that it should be in the next day. I was told that my trailer would be ready for pickup by the end of the day on Thursday March 10th. On Thursday I called and no one answered the phone at any of the phone numbers that I had. I sat on hold for a half hour while my call was not taken. Friday I called them again, and explained to the lady that I was getting frustrated at the situation and the fact that no one ever returned my calls, and that I kept getting put off on the delivery time. She told me that she would have Kevin call me back. Finally I did get a phone call from Kevin. I explained to him how unprofessional the whole thing was becoming. He assured me that he would get my trailer built in the next couple of days and "throw in some extras to show you that we are all about customer satisfaction". I asked him for a definitive delivery date. He told me that he would call me back (no I did not believe him at this point) with a pick up time. That phone call never came either. I stopped calling and gave them space to build my trailer. I did not hear from Kevin Pitt or trailer world plus again until I finally called them on Monday March 21st. Kevin answered the phone. I asked him what was going on with my trailer. Again, Kevin said that he did not know but that he would look into it and call me right back. I told him that he had never kept his word to me and returned my calls before and that I doubted that he would this time either. He assured me that he would keep it "this time". That phone call never came. I called Southern Trailer Depot on the following Tuesday. I left a message and my phone call was returned in a timely and professional manner. I am happy to say that on Wednesday March 23rd, I pulled out of Southern Trailer Depot with a beautiful new trailer, at a great price, and was completely satisfied with the level of service I received from them. At this point I would not put a Trailer World Plus trailer behind my truck if Kevin Pitt was paying ME to do so. In all the years that I have done business with a wide range of business people, I have never, EVER had such horrible service as what I received from Kevin Pitt and Trailer World Plus.

Go somewhere else, please--these are not honest people…read more If you ever have a problem, they'll never call you back. The "technicians" have no idea what they're really doing and the management don't care to assist you, unless it's scamming you out of money. We bought a used camper from them and less than 3 months later it needed a new roof membrane, even though they had installed a new one before we purchased it. Short story is, they did not properly secure the roof membrane to the frontcap of the camper. Since it was an installation error, I assumed that they would stand behind their work--I assumed wrong. Repairs came out of my pocket, but at least I spent that money elsewhere. This place is a brick-and-mortar scam shop!

Do I have to post 1 star? Are negative stars an option?…read more Salesman goofed. His inventory sheet was off. He was adamant that the trailer I wanted had a tankless system. Multiple times I mentioned the deal was great IF he was selling me an Imagine with a tankless. Another dealership was even questioning how Camper RV was making money at that advertised price. On the walkthrough, it was made known the trailer I bought was NOT tankless. These goons brought over their 6'5 "manager" to tell me "you got a great deal. You should have read the brochure to know that doesn't have a tankless" 100% discounting the salesman's promise. They did drop install fee for camera and vents. After this attempted shake down by their version of Sloth from the goonies. Be warned. I should have trusted Yelp and other reviews vs believe I was getting a great deal. These folks do not appreciate customers. If that person was not the "heavy" sent to scare/intimidate me, and he is just only person that was available - - then they need to understand the optics and have Lurch take classes in customer service, voice inflection, and manners. He would make a blind deaf person cry.
