During a visit to review an issue with our furnace last fall, the technician from Chase found a…read morecritical failure in the ignition area and thereby saved us from Carbon Monoxide being pulled into the home. We were told the furnace needed replacement. As part of the discussion about new equipment, we complained about our terrible A/C system. After making various calculations, they came to the conclusion, the reason we don't keep up in the summer time during high temps was due to our system being too small, so we decided it was time to replace the gas furnace and A/C all at the same time with a high capacity Trane system that Chase recommended. We not only believe the new system is much more efficient, but just this week (7/3-4/2026) during 100+ temps and 111 heat index, we are having NO issues maintaining low 70's temps inside. This change has been worth every penny and we are seeing utility savings on year over year, monthly bills paying us back month by month. They easily installed a universal fan motor with zero issues. The total cost for parts and labor was a fraction of what F. HRR quoted me.This company is dishonest and overpriced. I made the mistake of calling Plumb Line back to install a vanity on my second floor the following…read moremonth of writing my original review. THEY FLOODED MY HOUSE. I ordered a vanity that had three wide, sliding drawers.Kevin informed me that the piping would need to be altered for it to fit properly. I paid for him to change the piping within the walls, alter the vanity so that the drawers would fit, and he also installed new shut off valves and altered their location. After he removed the original vanity and piping, nothing remained that wasn't installed by him. His failed installation resulted in my entire two-story home flooding and my family being homeless for over 6 months. It has almost been a year, and we still haven't recovered. Because the business wasn't picking up the phone at the time of the incident, I called my insurance company. Afterward, Kevin verbally admitted fault and offered to pay me partially for my insurance deductible in front of a witness. I had enough sense to decline his offer, but he admitted fault nonetheless. Nearly a year later, he's changed his entire story and is pretending to not know anything about the incident. If I were reading this review, I wouldn't need much more information to put this company on a list of businesses not to use, but just in case you do: Are you willing to risk your home suffering damages that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars? Are you willing to risk having to live in nearly a dozen different hotels, motels, and apartments within 6 six month timeframe? Oh, and imagine doing all of this during the height of COVID-19. Stay.
