Re-update They misquoted me on the replacement of the 2nd toilet which I had them do at the same time as the other I had issues with. (told me it would be $120-130 and the other one was free of charge) and now charging me $248. Also the bathroom smells SO BAD now. It smells like sewer water.

Short version: Avoid, they will try and scam you (I almost spent thousands)…read more I signed up for Automatic Climate's maintenance plan because I was dealing with high humidity in my home. During the visit, the technician claimed my HVAC system was oversized, said there was mold in both indoor air handlers, recommended replacing both capacitors, suggested replacing the entire upstairs heat pump, and recommended installing a UV light downstairs for around $700. The only issue I authorized was clearing the downstairs drain and installing a safety float switch. Given the scope and cost of the recommended work, I sought multiple independent opinions from other HVAC professionals. They found no evidence that the system was oversized, no mold in either air handler, and only one capacitor that actually needed replacement. They also identified the real cause of the drainage issue: the condensate drain pipe was sagging, causing water to back up. After supporting the drain properly and ensuring the thermostats were set to "Auto" instead of "Circulate," the humidity issue was completely resolved without replacing a heat pump or installing a UV light. Based on my experience, I have little confidence in the accuracy of Automatic Climate's diagnoses or recommendations. It appears they identified problems that did not exist and attempted to sell me thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs and equipment. I would strongly recommend avoiding them.
