Hurricane Eddie's is typically a stop whenever we're in Gulfport. As another reviewer mentioned, this is a bar with GREAT music and no food. Given that you're in Gulfport, the lack of food is not an issue. The atmosphere is a hybrid between a beach and hole in the wall. There's a large outdoor area with a stage and dance floor. The inside is a bit dark and feels nostalgic. Both areas are great; inside is good for watching sports, while outside is great for mingling with friends, listening to music and dancing. Every Friday - Sunday that we've come there are also people dancing and singing and I'd say that Hurricane Eddie's has the most consistently talented bands (some on repeat). The staff are attentive and friendly and the drinks are priced right. Combine all of these things and these are what keep us coming back time and time again.

Hurricane Eddie's in Gulfport, Fl is classified as a Sports Bar. They do not have food but they are sandwiched between Caddy's and O'Maddys. There are several other restaurants within walking distance. The service is fast and friendly and they have yummy cocktails. They have a variety of nightly live entertainment. Gulfport Beach is across the street and they have Beach Volleyball Nets. You can also walk down the Pier and fish, take pictures and watch the sunset.

Dead Bob's - Texas Bob Burger

Dead Bob's

Date of Visit: 01-24-2026 3pm…read more The wife and I were running our errands and forgot all about lunch. On our way home we had Dead Bobs on the left and a spot out front. This is the new location on central, perhaps the same size overall as the other and just as challenging to park. We lucked out on this day, this being our second time here. The first visit was just for drinks. This time we are hungry. We even lucked out when we walked in, few open spots at the bar. The place was busy just like any other time, but it didn't take long to get the attention of the bar tender. Drink orders taken and menus received. I have eaten at the previous location and food was good, first time here. Looked over the menu and decided on the Philly Bob, cheeseburger with shaved rib-eye and onions. The wife also had the fever, she ordered the Philly Egg Rolls and fries. For as many people that were there it really didn't take too long for our food to arrive. The Philly Bob came and it looked great. Not one for a mash up cheeseburger, these two came together well and done just right. The only thing I would have liked is regular fries, these were a coated kind like Checkers. The wife said her egg rolls were awesome as well with a cheese dipping sauce. I was so involved with my burger I never gave her egg rolls a try, and what was not finished she took home and didn't share. And by the way, one order of fries is enough for two. Since it is a new location for them it's pretty clean and well maintained. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Peace.

Salad and wings were pretty good but neither the best there are in St. Pete. Overall service was attentive but they were very busy so it was rushed and it felt that way. They messed up the initial salad order but were quick to fix it by bringing another one. I will probably bring some out of town buddies here at some point but my lady and I will not be making it a regular stop on the rotation. Feels like more of a guy's bar that's just a fun place to hang out and drink beer.

My friends and I went to The Toasted Monkey for dinner after spending the day at St. Pete Beach,…read moreand the overall experience was really nice. The view from the upstairs bar was great. We got to watch an amazing sunset, which was definitely the highlight. The food took a little longer than expected to come out, but it was tasty and reasonably priced. I ordered blackened grouper tacos and my friends ordered burgers. We all enjoyed our plates. The service was good and the staff was friendly. Parking is free, which is a plus, but it is pretty limited, so that's something to keep in mind. Overall, a solid spot with a great vibe.

We like this location because it does have a rooftop patio where you can sit and watch the inlet. They also have a large outdoor seating area that is covered. When we got there on Friday around three in the afternoon, it was already pretty busy with a very senior crowd. We chose to order a couple of beers and just sat at one of the tables outside. From what we observed, the team all seem pretty friendly and when we did ask if they had bottles of water, they did make the effort to see if they could find any on property. Unfortunately, the one location they looked that they thought they would be, and they didn't have them- at that point we were just ready to keep moving on with our day so let them know it was fine and we appreciated the attempt.

Well-versed on the menu and a very pleasant lady. It's certainly not a fancy place and it looks like it's been around for a while, but it's the kind of place where you might like to hang out at the bar. Everyone there seems to be friendly and you get that comfortable feeling. We had a variety of food items, some better than others but nothing below average. Really good salads, as you can see by the pictures, a nice job on the chicken wings, a BLT that was pretty tasty; the butternut squash soup was OK, pretty thick and not hot at all. One was returned to the kitchen to be heated up. There was a chicken dip that really didn't hit the spot, and the tortilla chips that came with it seem to be past their prime. As for the fried mushrooms. I found them pretty much ordinary. A nice surprise were the brussels sprouts with balsamic and goat cheese. Really really good. Overall, I would give the food about a 3 1/2 stars at the service five stars so what averages out around four stars. Like I said it looks like a nice place to hang around and have a couple of beverages and a little something to eat.
