Hey, it's a small, loud and somewhat dingy seaside restaurant next to the marsh that is exactly what you want after hanging out in the hot Georgia sun all day. The food was served fresh, they took their time to make it right, and I would call it above average as far as hole in the wall seafood places go. Our waitress Marie was not to be messed with and she knew what to do and went to do it. The guys playing live music were actually very good but of course it was way too loud for such a small room. They would have done a lot better with me had they just played their acoustic guitars without any amplification. this could be said of any Seaside restaurant though. We did have to talk at full volume to hear each other at a small table all the way across the room from the band. There is pretty much zero parking anywhere so you will probably have to park somewhere and walk to this place but it was a very enjoyable dinner with big portions of fresh seafood and it really hit the spot. The service was good, as well. Plus, it's pretty much the only place around to get any kind of seafood. We will be going back and I would recommend this place for visitors.

Hunter's Cafe in Townsend GA in the spirit of the Holidays. Absolutely delicious seafood served here!

My sister and I were visiting Townsend GA and found this little gem and decided to try it out. I meant to take photos of our meals but when they arrived I couldn't wait to dive in. Fish tacos were so fresh and the shrimp quesadilla was delicious! Definitely will be going back the next time we are in town. Wonderful and attentive staff as well!

Difficult to find! Ensure you use the map on their website (hunterscafe.com) Food was good! Lightly breaded (corn meal?) fried GA shrimp, battered french fries were extra crispy. Grilled grouper was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Crab stew was delicious, thick with plenty of crab. Coleslaw was ok--- I didn't care for it but I'm picky. It came out before the meal, more like a salad. It was slow--- the waitress was hauling but something else must have slowed her down because we waited a while for the food. Overall, good choice! I wouldn't sit in the bar area again because although it is slightly warmer (restaurant was pretty cold!) it was very dark.

Great food and every body is southern down to earth there to help. See if you can guess how many dollar bills are on the walls.

One of my favorite restaurants to eat at and I've been all over the world. The French fries are the best thing ever.

I was not impressed. Damn place smelled like grease. Charged a dollar for a piece of cheese. Food was overpriced and was not that good.

I arrived at Biggby just before 6am and settled in for a solid two hours, staying warm, enjoying my coffee, and catching up on writing Yelp reviews. It was the kind of slow, steady start that makes the rest of the day feel more manageable. The baristas were a lively bunch, moving with that early‑morning energy that keeps a place humming. They did a great job keeping the coffee flowing as customers cycled through. The drive‑through never seemed to pause for more than a moment, and every so often a few people wandered inside to warm up and grab their drinks. All in all, it was a very pleasant morning, the sort of stop that makes an early start worthwhile. I will happily return to Biggby for their consistently great coffee. Somewhat inconvenient location for gas station quality coffee and baked goods…read more Staff was friendly as was the owner. Location is clean but is really lacking on quality ( no fault of the owner or staff because this is a chain ) Baked goods are on par with Sam's club (frozen and defrosted donuts) and no whole milk is available ( which is an obvious cost cutting measure- so this place cares about volume rather than quality. Overall, if you like Parker's or Murphy's coffee - you'll like this place. If you prefer a higher quality drink, I'd give it a pass. Update / Reply to owner comment : Hi Scott, Thanks for taking the time to read my review - I hope you found my suggestion about including whole milk to be helpful, and that it reminded you of my visit when I told you directly that I was disappointed that you didn't have it as an option. I know you meet a lot of people so no hard feelings for attempting to defend your business online or not remembering our direct encounter - because you are actually the person that told me Biggby was a chain. I hope this clears the air of any accusations of me being "scared" of you. I don't feel the need to defend myself about updating typos or posting across platforms - as a business owner I'm sure you understand that your potential customers use a wide variety of means to look up businesses. I stand by my review, and feel that 3 stars is fair for the product you provide. Not refined enough for my tastes but will probably hit the spot for those in the market for budget coffee with interior seating.

They even have a mimosa if that's what you're craving. In addition they have a great menu of breakfast fare featuring zhuzzed up toasts to breakfast sandwiches. Don't miss the pastry case as you walk in. Oh my! Beware the drool. We found a comfy spot on the porch and ordered a latte and a hot chai. As well as an avocado toast and a pastry case stand out peanut butter and chocolate roll. Our server was as nice as the sunshine and quick witted as well. The food and drinks arrived quickly and were delicious. Glad I was able to snap photos before we dug in. Both items were as gorgeous as they were tasty. My roll was even warmed to kick up the decadence one extra notch! The only area for improvement - a minor one - need a sharper knife to get through the sturdy crust of the avocado toast. The standard knife was no match and resulted in making a crime scene of this breakfast plate. Food, drinks and service were all top notch. As I left I shared my compliments and I felt they truly appreciated my business. I'd go back in a heartbeat! You should definitely visit Mi Vida

Since not much was going on at 10am on a Wednesday in April, we walked around a little bit and then found Mi Vida, which we stopped in to get a little refreshment. The cafe is small, but adorable, and the employees were super nice. I ordered an Americano with oat milk and the barista was so cool in asking me how much milk I wanted because, as she put it, "I know how important the color of my coffee is when I order it". Also got a key lime scone to go which was lovely and not overly sweet. Just fyi, parking lot is small and shared with other businesses, so be aware of that.
