Our service technician Andrew arrived on time and was extremely professional. After hearing our description of the issue he let us know he could probably have it up and running very quickly. Within 10 minutes he confirmed the problem and provided us a quote for the work. Andrew began the work immediately and was done in about 20 minutes with the system back up and running perfectly! We transitioned from an aged Geothermal unit to a Heat Pump system as well as had an Air Scrubber installed. Jorge made sure customer service & satisfaction was priority. we had a leak that caused one of my bedrooms to be flooded with water halfway across the room. I called Hunter air to come out and check my air conditioner. because we pay a monthly membership, the service fee of $65 was not to be charged. I assumed it was a clogged drain and told the technician when he arrived. he opened the unit and found the drain plug and it was clogged. He spends 10 minutes, sucking water out of the pan, unplugging the drain. For 15 minutes, he charged me $300 for his service. no parts were needed. We've been customers with Hunter for years and have for spent thousands of dOllie's and for this simple task they charged us $300 labor. I find this unacceptable and I will not be using them again. read more

This place is very shady I've spent over 5k with them to have a water filtration system installed to make our water drinkable as promised by the manager and we are getting sick from the water now. This company does not hold up their end of the deal and seems to ignore the promise they were meant to keep. I do not recommend using them for any of your home repairs or installations mind you we are still battling on resolving this issue several months later nothing is being done. Awful, called them for some chewed up electrical wires in the attic. They said all done and charged me $250. I went up there later and found that all they did was throw some electrical tape on them. What a joke... call Swink and get it done right the first time. read more

They DO NOT honor their 24 hour service advertisement. Then when they do finally show up at their time frame and not yours they fail to fix the issue and then charge you a ridiculous amount. They have been out to work on my central air unit 3 times and it still isn't fixed. Stay away, you have been warned. read more

Last month I called Hunter to fix a plumbing problem that I fully anticipated to be a major, knock out the wall repair. We used them the second time because we had such a good experience when they replaced our water heater and replaced our water lines with Pex tubing. I had anticipated a bill of $1000 plus but they performed all the services I needed for under $200. They could easily have gouged me, and I would have never known the difference. The service technician, Cullen, was friendly and professional. This month we had another plumbing issue. We called Hunter, and they were out the next day. The pricing was more than fair. We would most definitely use them a fourth time if needed. They are three for three in our book! read more

We purchased a new a/c heating unit several years ago and for us there was a bit of sticker shock but we hadn't had to buy one in years so we thought it is what it is. We're very pleased with what we have. We did have an issue with a he said she said on a thermostat and even though it was just left unattended which left us to have a bad taste in our mouth, we were left with well what can you do?? For our benefit we have the service agreement and they come out and check things over twice a year. I really appreciate that. They really work with you to set up times because it's difficult to work that out at times. Once repairs did have to be done. They were punctual and the price was very fair. Justin was super friendly; he was very knowledgeable and diagnosed my HVAC issue within 15 minutes of being at my house. My AC was out late Thursday evening when i returned home, called and Justin was at my house Friday morning. He explained every repair he was planning on making, the membership with all of its benefits and answered every question. They are out of Ardmore but have 5 or so locations in the State. Called Hunter to get a quote for replacement of my central heat and air. They made an appointment to come out at 1pm. 1pm came and there was no Hunter, but a missed call/voicemail asking whether I was home. The number given to call back was a call center. I called their office and was rudely told that "we always make appointments with two hour windows," so the arrival time for my "appointment" was between 1 and 3pm. The woman talked over me and dismissed my protest that a 1pm appointment had been agreed on with a named female in their office. How rude and unprofessional! If it's this bad before they get my business, how bad are they going to be if I become a customer? Needless to say, I will not be doing business with these people. read more

They removed a fully functional central heat and air conditioner unit and let it set outside for 3 days. Before taking to the new location to install it. When they were done with the installation they informed me that the thermal expansion valve was now bad and wanted an additional $1200 to fix it. I scheduled an appointment because at time my tub was extremely slow draining until I did laundry not draining anymore. It's raining and they refused to even come see if there was anything that can be done inside because it will be a week until I am off again they did not give a shit why work a job you can't do if there is weather:? First time I called for an estimate, they were late, and never called to let me know. I called, and they explained that they worked late the day before. The next day, they were late, but showed up. The estimate they gave was $1000 more than the competition for the job I had. Another time, I thought I'd give them a second chance, so I called to have a condenser installed, but they refused to wire up a system that they didn't install. Surely, I figured as an "electrical service", they could handle that part of the job. Nope. They'd rather bend you over with their astronomical charges than do a simple job for someone. If I could give less than one star for these wannabes, I would. They need to take those stupid looking super heroes off their trucks, and replace them with fucking clowns. read more

We have never used these guys before. My wife called the day before and was told due to being dirty they didn't feel comfortable tracking mud through the house. So, they agreed to be there at 10am the next morning. At 10:30 she called and was told that she's on the work list and someone should be out shortly. At 11:30 the person that was coming out was in a meeting. Still no one has called... They finally showed about 1pm. They were very quick to unplug the drain and were very professional. The price was a little above the national average but still not bad. It just makes me upset when my time is not as important as theirs. read more
