Since my Mom passed, Dad hadn't kept up with necessary maintenance and cleaning. Dad also had an old dog that was incontinent and also got another dog who, you guessed it, wasn't fully housebroken. In Dads office and the hallway, I thought that I'd have to replace the carpet, it had the least amount of soil but was looking rough. Stanley Steemer sent two young men out, Mike and Quartney, who were the most professional, kind, and such hard workers! The air ducts were terribly dirty, as were the furniture and floors. THEY BROUGHT THAT CARPET BACK TO LIFE!!!! It was like night and day! Furniture and tile floors, looked amazing by the time they got done! And, the money I saved by not having to get the flooring replaced in the office and hallway, this was an AMAZING and very unexpected outcome!! The living room and dining room floors, were too far gone, and already knew they'd have to be replaced. Mike and Quartney did an AMAZING job! So respectful and helpful, they put my new air filters in after the duct cleaning. Those guys worked so hard, the bedroom carpets looked like new! I was so pleased with the results. I couldn't tell anything was done to the bathrooms. The main room that had a stain wasn't removed all the way which was unfortunate. We did get a military discount. The service man broke one of my large family glass picture frame which we were given a credit for. The other 2 rooms look great and there was no icky dirt or dark stains around the boarders of the room which is great.

I called to set up a time for someone to come look at our AC because it was blowing warm air. Issue #1: I was told that anything after 5 pm would require time and half ($80 regular service call jumps to $120). Okay, that's understandable. I left work in Denison at 3:35 and called the office, told them I was on my way home and would arrive at 3:55. She said no problem she had just sent my number to the technician (at 3:30) who would call to confirm. I arrive home and wait. At 4:10 he calls and says he's on his way he was just leaving Calera. He arrived at my home at 4:30. He inspected the AC inside our home and outside our home and came to the conclusion we had a Freon leak in the evaporator coil inside the home and one in the outside unit. He would call tomorrow with an estimate to replace unit. He left at 5:30. So he was at my home for one hour. I was at home at 4:00, he didn't arrive until 4:30 (our appointment was set for 4:00). Since he stayed for one hour, had he arrived at our scheduled time, he would have left at 5:00. I was charge $120 (time and a half) because it was after 5:00 when he left. I was home at 4:00, why should I pay extra because he was running late? Issue #2: His Freon test was inaccurate. He had the AC running while checking for a leak inside the home. The next day we called a different HVAC company to get a second opinion and we DID NOT have a leak on the inside and did not need an entire new unit. We did have a leak outside and had the outside unit replaced. So instead of $6800 for new inside/outside unit that wasn't necessary, we paid $3500 for a new outside unit the same day they came out to check the system. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this company.
