She let me go in and out of the machine to give a "test" run to make sure I could do the tests... she also let my son (23 yrs old) hold my hand and showed him where the emergency escape button was so if I started to panic that he could get me out faster. He was calm, articulate, patient, empathetic to my high state of nervousness, and took time to explain the process to me in detail. He even offered to play music, so I asked to listen to his playlist - and it put me at ease. He slowly numbed the injection site until he could proceed with me being comfortable. I felt a slight pressure - nothing else - no pain at all, it was remarkable. Everyone told me it would be excruciatingly painful. The techs seem unable to smile or make you feel confident in the care you are receiving. I felt like a bother to them. Yes, they were fast, too fast, focused on that instead of me. Whether it was because of high patient volume, job dissatisfaction, or persinal lack of empathy I am not certain. Other than that, the facility was clean, office staff were professional and courteous,radiologist report was fast, schefuling was mediocre...long wait times on the phone. Leave messages and don't get called back. I called and left a message on the Radiology Ditector's voicemail to ask a question about my exam. She never called back. I was so disappointed, I do not think I will go back.
