Late on a Sat. afternoon, after doing a major landscaping project at my home, I found myself with a driveway full of large wooden pallets, many 2x4's with multiple nails on each piece, and a huge amount of thick cardboard. None of which would fit in my trash bins.
I was already exhausted after working all day when I realized I needed someone to haul all this trash away. And the sooner the better!
I looked on Craigslist for trash/debris/construction demo hauling services and called a few people who had postings.
Most of the calls went straight to voicemail.
I did not want to leave a message only to be contacted 3 days later, as I wanted the trash out of my driveway and out of my way asap.
One other guy answered the phone and said he would call me back in a few hours, and another service told me he could not come out for a few days.
Extremely inconvenient.
I thankfully decided to keep looking, and called Hunk A Junk next.
David answered the phone immediately, and told me was available to pick up the 'junk' right away. He asked me to shoot him a few pictures so he could decide whether to bring a helper or not, and be able to quote me a price. After sending him the pictures, he immediately texted me back with a price that I felt was MORE than reasonable. And he said he could be at my home within 20 minutes.
I was beyond happy, since it was going to be getting dark soon, and lets face it, who really wants to work on a Sat. evening?
David showed up 15 min. later, and immediately got to work loading everything on his truck, and then proceeded to sweep my driveway!!
Hunk A Junk exceeded my expectations in every way... professional, dependable, reliable, and the price was lower than what I expected and what I have paid before for junk hauling.
