Love there food BUTTT .... They now have a call center !! I hate using, it's slow , I can't understand them half the time ... do yourself a favor, ask to be transferred to the actual store to place your order. read more

Ordered wings with our pizza. Pizza is less than par. The wings were listed as Chicken Wings, but what we got was so small that they were more likely Pigeon Wings..... And not very tasty. Talk about "Shrink-flation". Smaller, but not cheaper. read more

No Customer Service: I ordered (5) Deluxe subs at the Valrico store in Florida. To my surprise when I got home there was no lettuce, tomato, or peppers to go with the sub (as always provided before). It was odd because the server specifically asked about it and we said yes. So, I called to inform the store that I was not pleased and that I did not get what I asked for and paid for. The manager did not understand customer service at all. First she attempted to blame me; "Did you order online", "Did you make multiple orders"? (We ordered at Drive Thru - They took the order at the window - Their Error)....Then she said their store was different from every other Hungry Howie's in Tampa that we have visited: she said "You have to specifically ask for the Sub items to get them?" On a Sub???? I said we did! (Note there is no written notification on the website, or signage at the store that states this!) She then started blaming the order taker by saying "She put, that you did not want it!" Again, we did! (WHAT DOES ANY OF THAT HAVE TO DO WITH "CORRECTING" THE OBVIOUS ERROR FOR THE CUSTOMER?) So, while I expect some kind of apology, restitution, maybe even discount on my next order after spending nearly $50 and not getting what I wanted. She never even attempted to make (1) offer or take corrective measure..."Service the Customer!" Who wants to hear excuses when you have spent your money, and do not receive what you want or expect? We will never return to that store!!! We are a large family and a $45 plus customer on nearly every order! "It appears Customer Service is a lost practice; People seem to want to be more cynical and/or defensive instead of helpful!" read more

Good service and good pizza . We've been very satisfied every time we ordered. Reasonable prices plus Wednesday they have a good deal

We order from here often and the food is typically great there has been a time or two that Ive ordered my pizza a certain way and ot wasnt made that way which is why it gets 4 stars but over all I recommend their pizzas , the subs are amazing and their wings are always great. I also have to say their delivery drivers always bring my food hot like it just came out of the oven which is awesome. I love this pizza spot read more

We had not ordered takeout at this location before. The double cheese pizza with garlic crust were very good. Cheesy bread was the big hit. The Grandkids were fighting over it. Will order more next time. Service was nice and the inside was clean. read more

The pizza is not the best, a step above Little Caesar's. However, their salads are the best I have ever had. The salads are Very filling and tasty. I recommend the antipasto salad with Italian dressing, you will not be disappointed with that salad. read more

Have been using the valrico location for probably close to thirty years. However, we were recently told when we called in our carry out order that we would have to pay over the phone by credit card. When we told them no we would like to pay cash when we arrived, we were told that wasn't allowed anymore we would have to pay on the phone. Then today my daughter was told she could not pay cash for a delivery order because of the address location. What! Sorry Hungry Howie's you have lost my business, there are to many other places making pizza to be told by you how I have to pay. read more

I dont think anyone (Howie included) would argue that HH pizza is even remotely gourmet. That said, I have never had a single order from this place to come out sub par. They are very close to my house and I use them all the time. They say "give us 15 minutes", but I usually call in my pick up order walking out of my house to my car and its hot and ready before I can finish paying. For the $5 lg pepp/chz its absolutely the best bang for your pizza buck out there. That little "hot-n-ready" guy with that little spear of his should hang his head in shame. And honestly these days, you cant go buy a bottom shelf frozen pizza for less than that, AND THEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT HOME AND COOK IT FOR 25 MINUTES. Go for the butter cheese crust, or if your feeling a little zesty I highly recommend the cajun crust. And I could write another review entirely on their italian subs, but yelp doesnt give me enough stars to do them justice. read more

Driver complained about how far the drive was and the pizza was incorrect. When you order extra butter cheese crust and receive a pizza with plain bread and no toppings on crust at all that is overcooked...you begin to wonder what is so hard about making a pizza? read more

Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs - No butter cheese crust...and we ordered extra! Crust was dry and chewy. Very bland! - Pizza Near Me - Valrico, Florida

Been here multiple times with no issues picking up internet order. Food is great with a smile from the workers.

The employees are fantastic and that's about it! This has to be the worst pizza on Earth! Nothing is fresh and the pizza tastes frozen!

I like the pizza but the deals are scam. You get a 2 topping pizza for whatever price is showing but no because NO MATTER WHAT 2 TOPPINGS you pick they charge you for them. Your bill for a 2 topping pizza is never what they say. Watch it. Its a scam. Too bad they are scamming people if you don't notice it. read more

Love this Hungry Howie's, super young upbeat staff that always have great attitudes. Not really into chain restaurants, but if I'm going to order a good cheap, fast tasty pizza this is my go to spot. Always a great experience. Service is a huge part of any food experience. See you soon guys. read more

I've ordered here many times and have never been dissatisfied. Today we ordered online for carry out. My husband picked it up and unfortunately a 2 liter didn't make it home. But this place was quick to rectify the situation. A 2 liter was delivered with a smile. This shows wonderful customer service and excellent management. I will continue to be a satisfied customer. Keep up the good work guys! read more

I order pizza at the Hungry Howies off of Miller Road and 60 quite often. I tried different styles different flavored crust and I've always been very satisfied with what I have gotten I usually call and within 15 minutes. I'm at the drive-up window picking up my pizza to staff that is smiling and ready to give me my pizza. I find it very affordable and gives me enough Pizza to have it as a leftover the next day way to go Hungry Howie's read more

Perfect soccer mom joint. The kids will enjoy it while mom enjoys the price.

This location is the best hungry howies! Now the 5 stars is for hungry howies.....you know what it is.....it's not NY style, but it's good and for the price it's really the best pizza you can get. I've ordered from other locations and they're always missing cheese in weird places and there's always too much sauce. This location never has any issues. The managers are def. doing something right. read more

Ordered from here several times since I've lived in Valrico and it's always been great!

Pizza is good. Had buffet. They offered to make whatever we wanted fresh. Employees are great. No Parmesan cheese or pepper flakes on tables. AND a GERMAN ROACH was crawling behind my head in our booth!! Never coming back. read more

You couldn't leave my pizza box at the restaurant before you delivered it??? Why am I pulling 3 ft long strands of hair out of my pizza. Can you put your social lives on pause for 2 seconds and work your job that might assist you in a placement career? This will go much higher... You served me garbage hair/dandruff pizza... Re evaluate your location... Because your employees are trash. read more

Love this place! Great pizza! Great service, whether picking up or having it delivered. We've never been disappointed. I feel sorry for Melissa. She must have caught them on a bad night. Give them another try, Melissa. They're the best! read more
