It was a great cozy atmosphere that I wanted to chill in my PJ's too. This was my first time dining here and it seemed to be a pretty popular spot in Milford with the constant amount of diners coming in. They have plenty of seating options including an outside gated patio for times with nicer weather. I ordered their Tavern Burger with an upgrade to Onion Rings. It was delicious with good fellowship. The complimentary street parking was a bonus with me finding a spot directly in front of the restaurant.

The wings, however, are very average at best. I've ate here multiple times, and the wings haven't been fresh and are always dry and overcooked. Smoke Street is an overall solid BBQ establishment…read more We started off with the nachos with pulled pork. These nachos were top notch. My fiancé got the basic cluck fried chicken sandwich. It was pretty bland, but I guess that was predictable based on its name. I got the boss hog combo, which includes pulled pork, brisket, sausage, corn bread, and two sides. I chose sweet potato mash and killer mac n' cheese as my sides. The meats on the platter were delicious. My go-to BBQ meat is brisket, but the pulled pork here was my favorite. As for the sides, I definitely preferred the mac over the sweet potato mash. Out of the 10+ BBQ establishments I've been to in Michigan, Smoke Street would rank somewhere in the 6-8 range.

I placed an order, which took 45 minutes because when I got there 15 minutes later, they haven't even touched the order. They did have a large order in front of me. Then, I proceeded to witness staff arguing with each other, and looked around noticing the store was in disarray and dirty. The next person tried to order on the kiosk, couldn't, and the staff member could not take his order...literally. She couldn't understand what he wanted and just kind of gave up? He left muttering profanity and the next customer stood there for like 15 minutes. The gentleman from the back, who should've been preparing my order, came out to tell her she had to order on the kiosk. At which, she got mad and left. No other orders, no cars, no people..on a Thursday night. I did get my order and was a little nervous to eat it after seeing the condition of the store. I did eat it and the food was decent. About a 3, thus my review. I know the workers showed up, and that is at least something. However, they were not able to run the store or manage the customers. I wondered where in the world the management was??? It's sad that a manager or owner would let a franchise be run in this fashion and not really seem to be involved in the operation. Sadly, good businesses do not last even if the product is tasty.
