We were welcomed in and the owner, Dave, chatted with us while prepping our order. Note, this is a carry out only establishment. There were three spits of meat churning away. It smelled delicious in there. My brother recommended the King gyro. It comes with 1/2 pound of delicious gyro meat topped with shredded lettuce, red onion and diced tomato. The soft, warm pita is spread with tzatziki sauce for that tangy hit of cucumber. You can see the freshness as they were in the process of chopping more veg for toppings. Three big containers of diced tomato done and they were on to chopping red onions. The store itself has essence of Elvis everywhere in the decorations, even a life-sized replica. It was a great taste combination. The entree also comes with a side salad. In retrospect, I should have gotten that to go so I could enjoy it later. I'll do that next time. The feta appetizer was a chef's kiss - it is fried with panko breadcrumbs and served with honey drizzled all over.
