We ordered chicken , chicken strips, shrimp, cheeseburger & country fried steak. We got our salads had to get the waitress so we cld get silverware so we cld eat our salads & as soon as we got our silverware the dinners were there didn't even get a chance to put a fork in the salad. The chicken strips were very small & looked & tasted like they had been microwaved. Chicken fried steak cheeseburger , shrimp , chicken were good potatoes were all cold. Waitress never came back to ck to see how the food was or if drink refills were needed. You will not leave hungry. The only problem is deciding what to eat, everything was amazing. There was four of us and we all got something different. A cheeseburger and fries, a Philly cheese steak sandwich and fries, a bowl of chili and I got fried catfish with coleslaw and fries. I recommend any of these or anything on the menu. They give you full to the top bowls or cups of whatever it is. The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely make this our go to when we pass through again. Very run down looking!! In fact the men's toilet was leaking and caused my husbands pants to get wet! They were friendly and the blueberry pancakes were really good. My family went here to meet with my older parents so we could catch up. We get together about once a month. There were 5 of us. We were told we had to wait for a table. The larger tables were occupied but there were lots of booths and small (4 person) tables available. We asked if we could put two tables together - no. We asked if we could put a chair on the end of a booth - no. We were then told we could eat at two separate booths! So, their suggestion was perhaps I not visit with my Mom or perhaps my Dad, or maybe my daughter could miss out on visiting with her grandparents?! If we completely split up, then what was the sense of even going there?! So, my elderly father decided to walk over to add a chair to a 4-person table. The 'hostess' came up to me and said he could NOT do that. I then told my father we needed to leave. The staff were then sarcastic to all of us as we walked out. You know the dinners that In movies the main character will be at and a lady in her 50s comes up and says "more coffee dear?" That is this place a great spot for breakfast that reminds you of your childhood and the 90s they play 90s country and Elvis at all times. I have been to thing place multiple times. Never have I had worst service than today. They just stood by waitress station talking and just looking at us we waited maybe 10 mins if that and walked out that's complete bullshit. Plus a table greater than 6 they automatically add 15% gratitudy like they think they can just slack off because they automatically get a tip shame on you guy's. read more

Absolutely terrible, waiters where talking about us behind the counter, getting really mad and they had a lot of attitude. Messed up the food. The steak didn't even have any flavor, the pancakes where solid and you couldn't even cut them, overall food was bad and service was Terrible. Aweful. I ordered the catfish platter and specifically asked for a side salad instead of fries. The server then asked if I wanted cottage cheese, I thought this was an extra side with the salad. . Nope, I only goy a bowl of warm, liquidy cottage cheese. My catfish eases extremely over cooked to the point of being hard to eat. This is just your average family restaurant. Generous portions of overly salted, mediocre food. Good prices for anyone on a budget. The California Burger was good, however I don't recommend the creamy potato soup- pretty bland and salty. read more

Breakfast is the best meal here. They cook eggs perfectly to order and their country fried steak and eggs breakfast is delicious as well as reasonably priced. The servers are usually very attentive, however we have noticed some of the younger ones have forgotten about us once or twice. Their weekend breakfast buffet is also good and reasonably priced, and their specials are usually homemade and good. Their desserts are amazing! Get the chocolate layer cake or pie. read more

Hungry? Drive On By.... Had a discount coupon from the motel next door. Didn't bother to use it or leave a tip. Saturday morning 10AM. Walked in and was not even acknowledged for nearly 5 min while 6 servers were grouped at the counter 2 ft away. Finally seated and waited another 10 min for a server to take our order. Had the buffet breakfast - Mistake. Everything was cold and tasteless. Server only showed to take our order and bring us one cup of coffee. Went to leave and waited another 5 min for the owner to find our waitress and ticket. $23 for two cups of coffee and two crappy buffet meals. Drive on by. read more

I admit that the food is good but went to a Saturday brunch there recently and the service was very poor. Did not seem to busy when i walked in but there were 3 or 4 people waiting to check out and 2 groups waiting to be seated while several employees were standing around the counter and no one was around the Hostess area. Same thing when i was ready to leave, the server assigned to me was asked by someone else working there that i was ready for my check but this other lady went and got it.
