We had a chat about their sister Thai restaurant next door, (haven't tried yet) and he also took a genuine interest in us, and our preferences. (Humble brag- I have a certificate for eating "the hottest Phaal in the world" at another spot) he took my input and had my vindaloo heat turned up a few notches - it was delicious! The garlic naan was also delightful. My friends loved their dishes too. This restaurant is usually busy around Diwali times with tons of orders coming in. I ordered the chicken tika masala with naan. Similar to most Indian restaurants you have high prices with smaller portions. Unfortunately that is how it is these days. However the portions that they do have are delicious. They have some tables outside when it's nice out. They originally asked us to wait as no tables were available but then sat us at the table that was open. There seemed to be confusion but we were glad to be seated quickly as we didn't have reservations. For appetizers we got the spicy spinach and kale chaat which was crunchy, spicy, and flavorful. Also, ordered the tandoori chicken momo which were decent but would have liked them a little more spicy. For entree, I ordered the old Delhi butter chicken with bullet naan. I would say at first I thought it was just okay and that could be from the flavors in my mouth from the appetizer because when I had left over the next day I enjoyed it alot more. My friend ordered the lobster moilee for which the curry part was delicious, flavorful and spicy. Wish they had that coastal Indian curry with chicken. For dessert we got Chandni Chowk Ki Rabadi Jalebi as this was recommended from waitress but I would skip it unless your jalebi lover which I am not. It really sweet and milk reduces that a little bit of it but also milk aspect is confusing as traditionally we don't have that with milk. For a drink, I got mango lassi which was mediocre. My friend got some limeade drink which was sour as expected. This place I believe is byob.

We asked nicely for a bright table since we have reservation and the guy told us is all reserved but place was empty meantime. We seated and I have to asked for the light to be turned on so we can see the menu because the other side has lights on. It took sometime until they put it on. meanwhile our wine was getting warmer no wine glasses no water either and they kept walking front and back like they were accomplished something but nothing was going on. we were still waiting looking at them just waiting to order. 15minutes waiting finally they come and asked if we needed wine glass? Oh boy Meanwhile no lights so I use my phone because the table lamp didn't have batteries or not charge. So we say yes please respectfully but still waiting for it. Couple more minutes pass by and water and glasses still nothing. The table next to us was waiting as well for something else I can feel and see them how frustrating they were as well I hear them talking and not happy as well. The sauce was tasty. - Aloo Gobhi Mutter (9 out 10): the portion was huge, and very tasty. It's a little too salty, but pairs great with the rice. - Chicken Murgh Madras Curry (3 out of 10): The sauce was too salty (I added some more coconut milk at home). The chicken pieces were really dry and tough. - Plain Naan (10 out of 10): delicious and well made Unfortunately, for the price, I'm not sure I would try this place again.
