Our 83 year old home has original Saltillo Tiles which I don't think have ever been restored since…read morethey were installed. Due to the porosity of clay tile, it can very easily be ruined by the wrong type of cleaning and sealant application. It's a job for professionals. And folks who specialize in this type of tile are hard to find. I found Tyler and his company, Seal Systems through Yelp and called them for an estimate. I was pleased to learn this is ALL they do. They specialize in natural clay tile restoration. Tyler's dad even created a proprietary cleaning solution to address the potential issues of stripping off old sealer. On Day 1, they showed up and stripped the tile on their hands and knees. No machines, just two guys working their a$$es off. On Day 2, the sealant went down, four coats in total (I believe) were spread. (I prefer the high-gloss Saltillo). The tile looks gorgeous. The patina is still there but the whole room has a new life. I love the way it turned out - 100% exceeded my expectations (because old tile restoration can be hit or miss.) If you have clay tile that needs some TLC - hire these guys. They are professional, responsible, dependable, and know what the heck they're doing. Also - family owned business...that's a good thing.

I hired them again several years later to do flooring in another room; they did such a terrible job…read morethat the tiles cracked when walked on the floor because the installer just put blobs of concrete onto the tiles without smoothing it out at all. This technique also led to a 1/2" gap between the tile and the drywall in the shower. They didn't ask what kind of edging I wanted either before permanently installing cheap plastic. The owner showed up on the first day of the install but then I never saw him again. He left some young kid at my house who didn't speak any English at all. He originally installed it going the wrong direction, wasting materials I paid for, and then became visibly irritated with me when he had to redo the floor tile. When I pointed out that the tile was crooked, the supposedly non-English speaker said, "No, it's not" and then waited until I left the room to disappear forever. I tried to contact the owner, Robert, several times afterward asking for help and then he blocked my number. Eventually I gave up and hired a different contractor to demolish and redo the entire thing so the floor tiles dont crack when you walk on them and the wall tiles wouldn't fall off onto people showering when we the foundation shifts with the seasons. Hiring Anna Flooring a second time was a several thousand dollar mistake. I don't understand what happened to this company.

I initially spoke with a woman named Michelle, who was very kind and assured me that an insurance adjuster would come out to inspect everything and possibly get the entire roof replaced. Instead, they sent a gentleman who didn't speak much English. He didn't go on the roof, didn't take any measurements, and didn't inspect anything underneath--like the boards that needed to be replaced--which is something you cannot see from an Eagle View. Michelle then said she could take measurements from Eagle View, but that would cost extra. Before I could even get a quote or see what type of roof would be used--there are about five different types, and I wasn't told which one--or what exactly would be replaced, I was expected to sign a contract. Why would I sign a contract without knowing the details? When I asked for a quote, she refused, saying it would take the guy too much time. Then, completely out of the blue, she told me they were no longer going to do my roof. What kind of company treats clients like this? I have all of this documented via text. I cannot imagine treating a customer in such a dismissive and unprofessional way.

Precision Outdoors wowed us with their exceptional craftsmanship, steadfast management, and…read moreproactive and open communications throughout our project. It was no easy feat, given our project was so challenging. In fact, a prior vendor could not even deliver our project after 1.5 years. We lost all faith that our project would ever get done, until Josh at Precision Outdoors came along. We had very particular needs: * A handicap accessible deck, built up to the very specific height of our back door to make it easy to get in and out of our house. * The deck had to be structured to surround an "endless pool"-type swim spa that we could use for physical therapy. * Safety railings were key too -- with specific heights, lengths, and materials -- all of which were customized to ensure functionality and accessibility. * And, we needed a ramp that was easy to navigate up and down between levels for a person with mobility challenges. * If that wasn't enough, we also wanted a modern style (which is very unlike what typical Texas contractors even know or understand how to do), and we wanted to use a very particular full-PVC decking material that is not often used by contractors either. * How could we ask for anything more? -- well, we did. To top it off, our yard is tiny, boxed in by a retaining wall that leaves little usable space to work with. This meant we'd need a cantilevered deck to make the most use of our limited backyard space. As you might've inferred with this set of requirements, Josh and Precision Outdoors is not the kind of company that shies away from a challenge. Why? -- because they are just plain highly capable. Josh and his team took on the challenge, and they checked all the boxes. Their decking structure included concrete piers at multiple different levels of our yard, given the challenging retaining wall structures already on our property. They gained approval with the city at every step of the process, making adjustments where needed to ensure safety and a well-implemented structure. When it came to installing our Azek full PVC deck boards, they took the time to have an expert from the manufacturer on-site to guide the very unique installation process. When some aspects didn't initially hit the modern look and qualities we were going for, they took the time to work with us until we were fully satisfied. Given the care, attention to detail, and materials used, we now have an accessible and low-maintenance deck that we believe will last for many years to come. To say the least, they did an impressive job. We highly recommend Precision Outdoors.
