New ownership really took over and remade this a place out of this world. Me and my wife loved our bowls and the pita chips! Also got to try the flavored lemonades. Can't wait to go here again for dinner read more

I stopped by again for a quick snack to hold me over until I landed back home, and of course I had to get my favorite hummus and pita chips! The funny part? The Owners actually recognized me, even though I looked different and ordered from the kiosk. They told me they had seen my Yelp review and even took my suggestion by getting straws that actually work with their delicious shakes! They thanked me for the review and said it really helped them out, which honestly made my day. I was a little embarrassed they recognized me, but I'm glad my feedback was helpful. If you live in the area, this is definitely a spot worth checking out for lunch or dinner. The hummus is absolutely delicious, in my opinion, and the staff is awesome. Thanks for not kicking me out after recognizing me, guys! Keep up the great work! read more

Kava could never! Hummus Republic in Scottsdale just set the gold standard for Mediterranean food. We ordered two shawarma bowls - one with lamb, beef, and chicken, and another with lamb, beef, and mushroom - and both were phenomenal. The flavors melded together beautifully with every bite. Our server DJ was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. If you're near Scottsdale, you need to try this place. Ambiance is great and perfect for family + friends. This is the real deal! read more

It's been several years since I went back to this restaurant. The new owner is a great guy and very friendly! I ordered the bowl and the food was very tasty. If you are looking for a different taste in humus you should try this restaurant! I'm going back again today for another bowl. read more

Hummus Republic - Healthy Bowl - Mediterranean Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

Chriss at the counter was super nice and helped me figure out what to order since it was my first time. I had the create your own bowl w Gyro meat and all the other sides. All is included in the price. Very flavorful and good portion size. Now oddly they had 6 different types of lemonade (fresh) but NO brewed ice tea. One or two of the lemonades should be swapped out for ice tea!! Everyone drinks tea and 6 types of lemonade is just overkill. ADD brewed tea and I will be back more often. read more

Hummus Republic is definitely worth checking out! The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and the customer service was truly on point. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. And the prices? Super reasonable, especially for the quality and portions you get. It's always nice to find a place where the food is great without feeling like you're overpaying. Definitely a spot I'd recommend and will be coming back to! read more

Absolute Freshness Bomb! New Favorite Spot. I am officially obsessed with this place! If you're looking for a meal that leaves you feeling energized and full instead of weighed down, Hummus Republic is it. The build-your-own bowl concept is amazing. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. I got a bowl with the spinach base, half chicken shawarma, half falafel (which was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside), and a scoop of their jalapeno hummus. Oh my goodness, that hummus has the perfect kick! What stood out: The Sauces: The garlic harissa and tahini take it to the next level. Don't skip them. The Portions: They definitely don't skimp. I had enough left over for a solid lunch the next day. The Service: The staff was incredibly patient and helpful, guiding me through all the toppings since it was my first time. The restaurant itself is super clean, modern, and has a great vibe. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or a total meat-lover, there is something delicious for you here. Clean eating definitely does not mean boring eating here. I'll absolutely be back, highly recommend! read more

Main point: Too Expensive. Was craving Mediterranean food and figured I'd try a new spot. Portion was pretty small and sad that feta is $1 extra. I feel like that's a core ingredient to every good bowl but ok lol. The food was not very flavorful. The biggest disappointment was really the price. $16 for a bowl is just not justifiable for the price. Nice staff tho! read more

Hummus Republic - Customized bowl with Lemon Chicken - Mediterranean Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

While searching for a balanced meal, I came across this Hummus Republic and decided to stop in. I was immediately greeted and treated like family. Tiko (Sorry if I spelled that wrong) was inquiring and looking to understand what I was thinking about ordering. I ended up splitting two proteins as recommended by Tiko which was the best move so I could enjoy two different flavor profiles. This was refreshing to know someone cares and puts in the effort to provide top service. These days you get a fluoride stare and feel like an inconvenience. Anyways, I decided to eat inside (place was spotless) and I'm glad I did. The music was not loud but still engaging and I had conversation that was genuine and real. I appreciate the genuine conversation and the delicious food at this specific location (first time at this location) because the vibes are immaculate. I will most certainly be coming back to this location. Price point was shockingly low. A bowl was $14 dollars, and despite many locations raising prices due to high gas, this location has not increased prices. Thank you! read more

While in Scottsdale AZ for work, I visited Hummus Republic multiple times. How many times you might ask, enough to order over 400 falafels over the course of three months. Is this a lot? Yes. Would I do it again? Hell yeah! As a gluten free vegan I was drawn to Hummus Republic because they identify which items align with different dietary needs. After the first bowl I was hooked. What makes Hummus Republic so great? The flavors of the falafel bowl all mixed together makes for a satisfying bite. And the portion size for the price is honestly perfection, you can get yourself a hearty bowl for roughly $20. I tried a few other restaurants in the area, and to get a comparable fullness I had to spend more than $25. The staff and owners are some of the nicest people and super welcoming, not just to me as a regular, but to every person that walks in. Do I usually write reviews, nah. Did this place earn it, hell yeah. I hope I get sent back to Scottsdale soon, already missing those falafels. So if you're looking for some good food, and a really nice relaxing vibe with a side of tahini, check out Hummus Republic. read more

I made a quick stop to pick up their falafel and a side of jalapeño cilantro hummus w/pita. You get five pieces of falafel. It was slightly over cooked but tasty. You get five scoops of hummus. I got 2 pitas. The hummus was tasty. Their pita bread isn't my favorite. I'm still on the hunt to find the best falafel in Phoenix. Service was nice & quick. They have a big patio seating area. The inside is very clean & bright. read more

I'll never go back to Cava or Chipotle after eating Hummus Republic. First and foremost the service as soon as you walk in you're greeted with a smile from all of the staff. Secondly, the portions here are great! You get bang for buck and I drive out of the way to come to Hummus Republic. Inside of the store is extremely spacious and the vibe is chill. Lastly, the food was so good I forgot to take a picture of it before I started. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! P.S. if Apple Maps says they are permanently closed, that isn't true. read more

The new owners have taken Hummus Republic to an entirely new level. They improved the spice ratios to a level that is better than the food I've enjoyed in the Mediterranean and Middle East. They returned the Chicken Sharma to what it should be - thigh meat that explodes with moist flavor instead of using chicken breasts. I've been there two days in a row (it's that good). What I appreciate even more is the new level of service that makes you feel like you are amongst friends and family (a functional family lol) that genuinely care about your experience. If you haven't been since the new owners took over, you owe it to yourself to enjoy some of the best Mediterranean food I can remember. read more

Hummus Republic - Mediterranean Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

A restaurant dedicated to hummus? Yep, that's it. Well, they do have other options, but hummus is the main star in its beautiful colors and variety. When you walk in, you will be peppered with questions: 'Have you been here before?'; 'Have you seen the menu?' 'Do you have any allergies?' All good questions, but it can be overwhelming. I think once they get some regulars, the challenge would be to know who the regulars are and not ask those questions, or visually look for clues from the guests to ask those questions. I had not been here before, but I did check out the menu online. I wanted a bowl with a base of spinach. There are other options, but like Popeye, I want my spinach. You can then pick and choose different types of hummus. I picked traditional and the Harissa hummus. The Harissa has some heat, but it was not spicy for me. Here are the choices of hummus Harissa Kalamata Olive Roasted Eggplant Traditional Tzatziki Zesty Feta Then pick your protein. I saw online that they had vegan beef, but this location did not. I chose the mushroom shawarma. Then comes the toppings. Wow. There are a lot. Beets Chickpea croutons Chopped Cucumbers Chopped Tomato Crumbled Feta Dolmades Fried Eggplant Fried Jalapenos Herb Mix Kalamata Olives Picked Red Cabbage Red Onions Street Mix Tabbouleh and white cabbage But wait, there's more The dressings you can add at the end are Garlic Jalapeno tahini Grandma's hot sauce Lemon and Olive Oil Moroccan Hot Sauce Roasted Red Pepper Tahini Traditional Tahini For my bowl, pictured, Spinach Harissa and Traditional Hummus Mushroom Shawarma Chopped Cucumbers, Fried Eggplant, Kalamata Olives, Red Onions, Fried Jalapenos Moroccan Hot Sauce I did get a side of Grandma's hot sauce, and while it was good, it wasn't for me. My bowl was 13.99ish, and it was extremely filling. One could order a side of hummus and freshly made pita chips, but it would have been over the top. My service was friendly and genuine, and I enjoyed my visit. I want to thank the staff, especially Eshawn, for the excellent service. read more

This place is legit, way better than cava, 10/10 recommend it. The chicken here is juicy and the toppings are great

I don't write many Yelp reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. This was my first visit to Hummus Republic in Scottsdale, and from the moment I walked in, I could tell something was different. I later learned they're under new ownership, and it definitely shows. A young man greeted me and took the time to walk me through the entire menu and explain their scratch kitchen concept. Everything is made fresh--from the proteins and hummus to the lemonades. He was incredibly patient as he helped me build my bowl and even suggested a few ingredients I normally wouldn't have chosen. I'm so glad I trusted him because every single bite was outstanding. I don't like comparing restaurants, but if you've been to CAVA, this meal was hands down one of the best I've had in a long time. The lemon chicken was incredibly moist, flavorful, and tender--not dry or stringy like you so often get. And the hummus? Seriously...it's in a league of its own. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. Even though it's a walk-up, fast-casual restaurant, the care, patience, and genuine hospitality I received rivaled--and honestly exceeded--what I've experienced at many full-service restaurants. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it made the entire experience even more memorable. Halfway through my meal, I found out the young man helping me was actually the owner. I never would have guessed. He was humble, welcoming, and far more concerned that I was enjoying my meal than anything else. To see an owner working the front line, taking the time to educate first-time customers, answer questions, and make sure everyone is enjoying their meal says everything about the kind of business he's building. Fantastic food, exceptional hospitality, and a true commitment to quality. If you haven't been since the new ownership took over--or if you've never been at all--do yourself a favor and give Hummus Republic a try. PS. They have , from scratch, MARGARITAS! I'll absolutely be back. read more

Absolutely delicious Mediterranean food with incredibly fresh ingredients and amazing flavor! The hummus, Kalamata olives, basmati rice, and colorful vegetables were all outstanding!!! We ordered Hummus Republic to cater a work celebration for about 20 people and it was a huge hit. We got a mix of the Medium Share Box and Wrap Boxes, which gave everyone a ton of options. The lemon chicken, chicken shawarma, and falafel were all amazing, and the different hummus spreads, and sauces like the tahini and tzatziki were great. Everything tasted super fresh. Portions were definitely big enough too, we had plenty of food for the whole group and even had leftovers. Everyone at the office loved it and we'll definitely be ordering from here again. read more

Hummus Republic - Mediterranean Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

Ugh/ What a waste of $50 I'm very unhappy. Will never go back. I ordered a bowl and a wrap. The number one worst part was the lemon chicken. So disgusting, had that bird taste, like metallic meat taste, foul, worse than fowl. Horrible. I picked out most of the chicken but then got to the falafel which was awful. So crunchy inside, not uniform, not tasty, hard as a rock. I feel offended by this meal. And this is supposed to be the grand 're-opening' as if they corrected previous issues. I only eat at healthy places, so i can say Protein House, Chop Shop, Flower Child, CAVA - ALL 1000 times better than this. I wasted money, can't eat it. My husband got the bowl and also picked out all the chicken. He did say "Oh, THERE's the couscous" because it was a scant amount at the bottom. All around disappointment, and an expensive lunch to not be eaten. I will stick with the better bets. read more

Wow! Great choice for lunch. My first visit to Hummus Republic and I was cheerfully greeted by Tiko who gave me a quick overview the meal options and where to order. Chrissy was behind the counter and stepped right up to inform me of choices and then promptly filled my bowl with the many food choices I had made; options seemed unending. Chrissy was extremely knowledgeable about food choices; in fact, her enthusiasm encouraged me to make some adventurous choices. I am sooooo thankful I did. One of the BEST meals I've had since relocating to AZ!!! If you find yourself working up a hearty appetite while shopping at the Promenade in Scottsdale, I highly recommend dropping in to see the helpful folks at Hummus Republic. Not only will you be joyfully welcomed by all staff, you'll get a hearty meal at a fair price and most likely be taking left overs home for your next meal.
