I was definitely after her whiskey ice cream (malted whiskey to be exact). There were other flavors too. She sources her gelato from 2 or 3 establishments. Though she didn't know the specific whiskey used here, she's focused on knowing what the ingredients are and where they are coming from. You can tell from her knowledge and the signage denoting the vegan and premium selections. From Gelupo there was: ricotta, almond & elderflower; emelia rumagna apricot honey; malted banana; 72% Venezuelan chocolate; and Pimms & Lemonade (winner for my friends). From Il Gelato di Ariela there was: malted whiskey cream; wild blueberry sorbet; and alfonso mango sorbet. 1 scoop = £2, 2 scoops = £3 and for a premium ice cream add another £1. There you have it.
