What he thought was mold turned out to be years of cobwebs and my black German shepherd's hair. The inspector was thorough, honest, and professional from start to finish. He promptly responded to my Yelp inquiry, took the time for a phone consultation beforehand, worked around my schedule, and arrived right on time. I cannot emphasize enough just how professional & respectful the crew was and left out basement without a sign of them being there, except for the fixed situation of course. These men were at our house in the cold of winter including one day which was below freezing. By laying plastic down on our floors, they were able to keep the dirt out and one day they literally had to heat up the rock before putting it down because it was that cold out. They did this to meet a deadline to us and we really appreciated them. They are the epitome of what customer service should be. I contacted Ohio Basement Authority in October to repair a sinking foundation. They put me on the…read moreschedule for Dec 30-31. When they didn't show up on that date ( with no call from them telling me they wouldn't be coming) I called them and found out they didn't yet have the permit. I ended up up calling my local county ( who issues the permits) and my county told me they sent the permit to the company office in Cleveland. The office in Cleveland never informed the office in Dayton that they had the permit. When the company was not able to start work on Dec 30-31, they rescheduled me for late January, and the foundation was repaired . However, they left my yard in a mess in spite of the contract saying that they would put the dirt back in the holes and tamp it down. The date to do that has been changed several times. They were supposed to come out and fill the holes with dirt on May 14. That date was changed to May 17( today), and they did not show up. When I called the company, I was told that the local representative was not even aware that I was on the schedule for today. What is going on with this company? I believe that this is a poorly run company. They have horrible internal communications. PLEASE save yourself time and aggrevation and find another company to complete your needed work. I wish I could give this company a lower rating 1 star.
