I highly recommend Jb Foundations. They were punctual, courteous, professional, personable, fair in pricing, even a follow-up call.

    Ohio Basement Authority

    Ohio Basement Authority

My family just moved into our new house in Grandview Heights and were getting some work done in the…read morebasement (new paint, new flooring, etc.). The painters noticed some mold and water damage near a few of the walls. I called Ohio Basement Authority and Jordan came out the next day. Having a finished basement makes figuring out if there is water coming in tough, but he walked me through the possibilities, and how we could remedy each one. Not being used to having a basement (I historically lived in *much* drier climates!), I really appreciated the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that he showed in walking me through the different situations. I decided to go with the interior waterproofing. I was scheduled to have my new flooring installed a day later, so the speediness that Jordan came out literally saved me thousands of dollars (and the time of having another floor installed!). Thanks OBA!

I had Ohio Basement Authority do some sidewalk leveling, which included a one year warranty. It…read morewould appear that not only do they not honor their warranty, they simply ignore their customer's inquiries and complaints, hoping that the customer simply gives up and goes away. OBA has utterly horrible responsiveness to customer issues. Here is the timeline and details: 3/25/2025: OBA did the leveling - the results were very good. I paid $1,600 for the leveling which took one guy less than 2 hours to do, so they obviously made a large profit. They indicated that they would do a follow up inspection at one year and if there was more than a ¼" shift, they would make a no charge correction. 4/1/2026: OBA did the one year inspection. The tech found there was a more than ¼" shift. She said she would review the original paperwork at the office and call me tomorrow - that never happened. 4/15/2026: I sent the tech an email asking for the status - she never got back to me. ?/??/2026: I believe I sent a second email, but I can't find it in my files. 5/14/2026: I called the tech and she answered. She said she wasn't sure if it was from sinking (covered under warranty) or roots pushing the walk up (not covered). I said that it appeared to me that there was some sinking that would benefit from a repair and suggested that if she wasn't sure, OBA should err on the customer's side and make a correction. She said she would talk to her manager and get back to me tomorrow - that never happened. 5/19/2026: I called the tech and left a voice mail - never got a response. 5/21/2026: I called the central office and talked to an agent. I explained my situation and asked to have a manager call me and discuss it. She said she would have a manager call me - that never happened and now it's mid-June.

    Stay Dry Waterproofing

    Stay Dry Waterproofing

As a Disabled Combat Veteran, Integrity is a key Important factor for me. StayDry (or StayWet as I…read morecall them) is the worst, most negligent and corrupt company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. No honesty, no integrity, no communication. It's been a horrifying experience, one of the worst i've had, let me tell you PLEASE BE ADVISED. Team leader Aaron started talking to my wife about how he liked large breast as well as talking about his recent divorce and how he loved young women etc...RED FLAG Guys did not have the knowledge needed to do the job. Stay Dry did not do the work in the agreed upon contract. The work they DID do was so absolutely disgraceful that they had to send a second team out to completely redo everything and still, after 3 days only completed have the work. I was told by Inspector Tyler that StayDry wanted to give me gift cards for being so understanding... I had 2 other waterproofing companies and construction company here as well as city officials including City trustee, all said work done was horrendous and not to code and that clearly StayDry is a predator company. No Communication from this company, they ghost you consistently, I emailed and called several times, multiple times a week. Did not receive a SINGLE call back as requested, in fact the Officer manager Jessica stated she personally thought the GM was waiting me out to get me to forget about the contract or give up. What kind of company does this? Basement inspector Tyler seemed to have integrity, but as Manager Jessica stated, she thinks that's why he quit and the work was never finished. SO, they lack experienced people. Honestly, there aren't enough characters to give a full review, it was that bad, I have a few pictures of how my crawlspace sits currently. After requesting via email, the work be done by the second week of March. Stay dry ghosted me. I called them over and over and received no call back. Finally, got word in one of the calls from the front officer manager that the GM wanted to just cancel the contract lol what!!!? Brother, we are way past that now. Clearly I told them that was not acceptable. I continued to call every other day asking for a return call from the manager, which I never received. Finally, an hour after they closed on the last day of the last week I gave them. I received an email stating they would be cancelling the contract because of some biohazard in my crawlspace. I am 100% sure this is actually going to be in StayDry's response if/when they do respond. This is absolute GARBAGE. I even hired a company to inspect the area, they gave an all clear and StayDry knows this, as they were told by the inspector Tyler. I have the receipts StayDry. It's insane to me that they would go this route, that a company like this can operate and STILL get new customers. I have more pictures, I have phone calls, I have text messages and emails. This is a company that literally had to be sued by it's own employees for not paying them, seriously. Go look it up. 5 months StayDry, It's been 5 months. You took a disabled vets money and left me out here with a screwed up house you PROMISED you would take care of me. I've had to apply to a charity at this point to try and get assistance in fixing the disaster you have only made worse since being here. Now, I have to worry about another expense. An attorney.

We have several pictures of different times that came out. Beware of this company. There is so much they have done to us. It's sad
