We like going to this quaint little French flare bistro. On our most recent trip, we were greeted by the sweetest hostess. Her name was Lily. She was very friendly and kind! We had the maximus pizza. I love the crust on this pizza. It's not too chewy and not too soft. It's just the right consistency. I like to dip it in the chili honey sauce. This pizza was topped with Imported Grande pepperoni, capicola & house talian sausage with their 3 cheese blend. We didn't have it on this visit, but we also really enjoyed the gentleman pizza. We also get the humble wings which are accompanied by three different sauces. It's great cause you never have to choose just one. The three sauces are buffalo, spicy Korean and chili honey. I love all of the sauces, but I have to say I enjoy mixing the spicy Korean and the chili honey together.

Beautiful setting inside. Outside seating is nice and cozy. We were greeted right away and a small 20 min wait want bad for a Friday night. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The menu has so many delicious items to try. The jalapeño hummus was delicious. The Red before bed sangria is a must try. I can't wait to go back to try more items on the menu

This is my second time and the atmosphere is amazing, very moody and elegant. Our waitress was kind and attentive. I am giving this a generous 4 stars because the food was good but I'm not sure why I'm not a fan. I feel like the dishes need a little more flavor possibly? I had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo and my friend ordered the Cremini Sacchetti. Both of our takes were it just needed something more. We also ordered the Forno bread with Alfredo and marinara to dip with which was good.

Have been wanting to check out Humble Bistro for a while and bummed it took me so long to get here. We came for a Sunday lunch and the restaurant was busy and lively. We enjoyed the humble fries these were delicious, I loved the salad and the crispy Brussel sprouts were so tasty. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items.

I love EVERYTHING about this place! The atmosphere and music create a romantic vibe that allows you to soak up and savor an evening together with your loved one! I am gluten intolerant, but can usually do a good sourdough bread, and theres was DELICIOUS and of very high grade! I had no gluten reaction whatsoever. We shared The Gentleman Pizza and it was a delightful combo of sweet and savory (** insert chef's kiss)! We also shared their Caesar and Jalapeno Hummus with GF pizza crust. Both were heavenly! I especially loved the Brussels on top of the Caesar--such an unexpected treat! Their "Not so humble fries" were absolutely incredible, as well! They may be humble, but their flavors scream from the rooftop just how masterful they are!

I had seen this place pop up a few times on social media and it was on my list of places to try for a solid year. We finally got around to going and I can't believe I waited this long to try. Everything we got was amazing!! We ended up ordering server suggestions-- the Brussels spouts, fig flatbread and a pasta. We loved every single one of them!! The vibe was also really nice. We went for an early dinner around 4 and sat on the patio so it wasn't too busy when we got there but definitely filled up by the time we left. Don't have any complaints really, aside from the service which wasn't necessarily bad- just not great either. Our servers seem to be really preoccupied or maybe just not having the best day, but it didn't affect our experience at all. We would definitely go back!

This Gilbert bistro is a little gem. With lots of wine bottles and crates as decor, it has a dark-ish, charming feel to it. There is a large patio with seating outside, an me inside had a combination of banquettes and tables. There is a bar along one wall. Our server was great--friendly and attentive. We ordered the Red Before Bed froze' and the carbonade, both wine based drinks. Both were very yummy! We shared a Humble Caesar salad and a Maximus pizza. The salad was not like a typical Caesar salad-- it has lots of crispy charged brussel sprouts and a 7-minutes egg. It's was delicious! The pizza had capicola, Italian sausage, and pepperoni. It was also delicious. Everything was good here. We've been here before and will be here again.

Would be a great date spot! I was surprised by how beautifully decorated the inside is. Humble Bistro has dark interiors with moody lighting and decor. The bruschettas were delicious. Nice crust and delicious toppings. They were more so fancy pizzas. Pretty filling for an individual, yet can double as a shareable. Top is the Kosher (salmon) and bottom is the shrimp and pesto

Been wanting to try this spot for a while and finally made it in on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking, greeted and seated promptly for a party of 2 without reservations. The Italian Paloma was very grapefruit forward, refreshing but more bitter than expected. The Not So Humble Caesar Salad was delish! My husband hates veggies but he actually liked this and kept coming back for more Crispy Brussels. The Smorgasboard was yummy too with a great balance of flavors and literally a smorgasbord with a little bit of everything. The bread was light and perfect as a vessel or even just by itself. We also ordered wings which were just okay and we probably would've been fine without. Service was great and it was a perfect spot for an impromptu day date for lunch!

My review for this establishment is neutral. The food and drinks were tasty. The atmosphere was classy and moody. The music was extremely loud. It was a bit hard to have a conversation. The service was a bit odd which is why I didn't give more stars. When I asked our server if he preferred the white or the red sangria he didn't speak on either. He suggested the Rosé. I personally don't like rosé which is why it wasn't one of them options I asked him to speak on. I ended up getting the red and it was delicious! It was shortly after we got our food that someone just walked up to us and asked if we were done with our food. When we said no, a girl came up to us probably 5 mins later asking us if we wanted boxes for our food. We said no, we were taking our time and breathing as we were trying to enjoy our dinner. Another girl came up and asked if she could clear our table and yet we still were eating. Once we were finally done and told them to take our plates our server came up with check in hand and asked if we needed anything else. I asked if they had a dessert menu. And I quote "Yes we do." And we just stared at each other. So I finally asked him if he was going to tell me the options or if he could get me a menu. Overall: Food: 10/10 Drinks: 10/10 Service: 2/10 Dessert: 2/10 (the cream brûlée was bland) Ambiance: 6/10

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did it today. I have no idea what took me so long to get here. I ordered a gentleman's pizza and it was phenomenal. My colleague ordered a Caesar salad salad with shrimp that looked amazing. She said it was awesome. The ambience was really nice like music playing in the background with amazing light fixtures. Cannot wait to come back to this place and try something different.

    Short rib over humble fries
    Angie T.

Humble Bistro is a true gem. The food here is absolutely fantastic, with so much care and creativity put into every dish. One of the highlights is their unique selection of "frites" -- gourmet French fries loaded with toppings like tender short ribs, cold water mussels, or chicken all with delicious sauces. They're gourmet, indulgent, and delicious. All of the pasta is made in-house, and you can really taste the difference. The sauces are rich, bold, and perfectly balanced, and the meatballs might just be the best I've ever had -- juicy, flavorful, and paired with a spicy authentic sauce to offset the rich creamy sauce that is on the pasta. What makes the experience even better is the value. For the quality of fresh, handmade food you get, the prices are very reasonable, which makes it easy to come back again and again.

    Do they have tvs?

Not that I remember! None at the bar, for sure.

    Do you have happy hour?

They have a small happy hour menu at the bottom of their main menu....they refer to it as "Social Hour" and it's everyday until 5pm: https://www.humblebistro.com/menu/

How long would I wait for a party of four on a Friday or Saturday at 5:30? I'm just looking for an estimate since you don't take reservations.

Our waitress was amazing. She recommended us with the best things to order as first timers. First the drinks - the Curious is just outstanding for a hot summer day! The truffle fries - do not skip it! The beet salad with the salmon is just YUM - fresh, light and leaves you satisfied that you haven't cheated on your diet but still had a good meal! The pizza, if you come here and do not have pizza, you're doing yourself injustice, lol.. we tried the Farmers Market and it was out of this world for sure..! Now here is where i messed up a bit, i ordered the chocolate dessert, coz am a chocolate lover, but, i should have gone for the cheesecake given its their speciality.. the chocolate cake is amazing, but its dense in a sort of way that you can't finish it there, ..its more of a "sitting on your fav couch and watching a movie with icecream and the chocolate cake. given its flourless, its reallly realllly dense, AMAZING no doubt, but DENSE!! So suit yourself on what dessert you'd want to actually have at the restaurant vs taking back home. Now here is also where I got confused with the menu, there are some items which are for lunch-dinner vs brunch, sides also vary. So if you're the kinds who wants a good burger or short rib, vs something you'd get at brunch - just got for dinner here, as the sides vary too, you wont get Mac and cheese for lunch or brunch as a side..so watch out for that before "walking in" like we did!

As a health food vegan, I am always on the lookout for food like this: whole foods/plant-based, including some oil-free options. Their whole menu reads like a list of my favorite food buzzwords: buckwheat, lentil cauliflower scramble, sunflower seed meat, local fermented sauerkraut, freshly milled Sonoran wheat; tempeh, sourdough, homemade seeded bread, homemade cashew milk, etc. etc. It was legitimately hard to decide what to get. I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion. I also couldn't resist an oil-free sunbutter cookie (with its wacky bluegreen tinge that was apparently from the sunflower seeds) and also loved the cold brew coffee with cashew milk.

A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go. Tell your friends. Mondays (and every night) deserve Sage & Barrel. You won't regret it.

At Joe's Farm Grill, the quality of ingredients does show in every single dish you get. Another thing to mention is, when you're done ordering your food at the register, they are pretty fast regardless of how packed the place is which pleasantly surprised me! For the onion rings, I liked them for a few reasons. Starting off, the onions weren't soggy by any means which I love in a good ring, batter wasn't the majority of the ring which is also a great sign, and lastly the crunch was very nice with them coming out fresh. The Fontina burger has a great beef patty that carries its flavor by how clean it tastes alongside the mushrooms that are the other biggest taste factor for this burger. Finally, the baby back ribs were the star for me personally because you can actually taste the pork for its quality. I usually expect a super sweet sauce that bogs me down after with ribs, but these ones left me feeling able to still go on about my day which I love. They aren't shake off the bone tender but I liked the gentle chew they provide. I especially liked the combination of the steak, vegetables, eggs, and sauce. It was filling without making me feel weighed down afterward. My wife got the Chicken Salad Sandwich and loved it. She kept saying how fresh it tasted and how good the toasted bread was. We brought our kids with us too. Ember had the grilled cheese and Emmett had the quesadilla, and both cleaned their plates. As a parent, that's always a win. One thing I really appreciated was how family-friendly the cafe felt. They even have a cute little table for kids, which my children immediately gravitated toward. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly from the moment we walked in and took the time to make us feel welcome. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the food they serve. We don't leave reviews very often, but this place earned one. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

I did a quick search on Yelp and realized I was less than a mile away from this cafe. The space has a cozy and welcoming feel. There's tons of seating. The staff greeted me as soon as I entered. The young woman behind the counter was very helpful. The menu offers sandwiches, shakes, pastries, and more. The tuna melt sounded great to me so I ordered that with gluten free bread as well as a GF pastry. I think it was a muffin top. Both items were delish! I devoured the tuna salad in the cafe before leaving and it helped me with my workout later that afternoon. The pastry was delightful as well. It was light and not too sweet. I came back a couple of weeks later and brought my husband who was looking for a healthy drink after we played golf. We both got shakes. My husband got the green goddess and I was looking for something refreshing so I got the Caribbean crush which has coconut milk, pineapple, vanilla protein, mango, strawberries, and OJ. It was exactly what I needed!
