I love Humble Bistro!! I have placed a to-go order as well as delivery, but have yet to dine-in. The space has a great vibe and I would love to dine-in one day. I fell in love with Humble Bistro's Not So Humble Caesar salad and Not So Humble fries at first bite, I ordered the two a second time. They're just done so well! The Caesar salad is a Romaine chop with garlic breadcrumbs dressed in jalapeño caesar, topped with crispy Brussels sprout leaves, parmesan and pecorino cheese and a 7-minute egg. I always add shrimp for extra protein. I have never had a Caesar salad like this before. It's definitely my favorite Caesar salad, especially because it comes with crispy Brussels sprouts -- added nutrition, which is nice. The fries come in a gremolata of parmesan, garlic, lemon zest, parsley, chili flakes and a dip trio side: spicy aioli, jalapeño ranch, fancy sauce. Ambiance is amazing, came in on a Saturday at lunch time and they had a girl singing over some piano ballads. I enjoyed it because she had a beautiful voice but it wasn't too loud like some live music (I know I'm getting old when I start thinking music is too loud). I don't submit bad reviews, but I had to! We walked in as a party of 3 at 6 last night. The place didn't look busy. We sat down and waited. Looking around, there were plenty of people working! We continued to wait as I counted the eight people walking around. After15minutes of no eye contact from any of the young girls who were more concerned with chatting with each other, my husband had to get up and ask the bartender to send someone over! She went and got one of the many servers to come help us. We saw her twice more our entire meal. What a pleasant surprise! Stopped in for dinner about an hour before they closed with hesitation as I always hate to be the person keeping people from getting to go home on time, however it looked pretty slow so I figured we could zip in and out pretty quick and boy was I right in the best way! Stopped in for dinner Veteran's Day weekend and had a great time. Service was quick even on a busy Friday evening. We started with an old fashioned and the peaches cocktail (photo below). Really tasty and well made cocktails, fairly priced too. For our meal, the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner, Short Rib Pappardelle, and the Smorgasbord. I would order each again. The chicken came with cheesey garlic fries that were extremely well seasoned. The short rib was excellent but had a disappointing portion size (because the meat was incredibly good but only lasted a few bites). Only 4 stars because the bartender used a weird toothpick that splintered into my girlfriend's mouth when she went to gently remove the cocktail cherry. That was dangerous. I hope the servers aren't complaining about their tips because I'm sure they reflect the service given here 10/24. Stopped by with 4 people, patio was completely empty and pretty much inside as well. They do not allow dogs on the patio even though online it says they are pet friendly. Our dog is a 15 lbs dachshund that makes no noise and is well trained. Seems a little odd to me to list pets welcome and have a patio and then discriminate against a small trained pet. This restaurant should be ASHAMED, went to eat with my friend who has a service dog (had her service vest on as well). The manager came up and demanded to know if it was a service dog (which you are not allowed to ask!!) after finding out it was she demanded and said "they have to be on the floor next to you" which is not true! But she put dog on the floor and then the dog kept eating food off the floor as the restaurant was so poorly cleaned after the last table. At this point she had to put the dog back on her lap in fear of it eating something off the floor that could harm her. The manager came back and nastily said "I already told you once that dog has to be on the floor". This is totally uncalled for and totally against the law! Stumbled upon this absolute GEM a few months back. Have been back over and over and they continue to impress with their food. For starters, if you aren't starting with the CHARRED JALAPEÑO HUMMUS you're missing out! So refreshing and perfectly crafted! Each one of the dishes I have had have been over the top and more than what I expected. My wife and I will continue to frequent this beautiful quaint eatery. I cannot express how much you must try this place. I love the fact that they don't have any Televisions, not many places go that route and I respect the hell out of that. I am a huge sports fan and love having dinner and drinks while watching sports but this is a nice reset where you get to spend time with your friends/family/loved ones without the interruption that TV's bring. This was actually probably the least child-friendly restaurant I have ever been to in Gilbert (not trying to seem entitled at all, I just wanted a high chair for my daughter). While the service was decent, i felt like I couldn't enjoy our time here as we were chasing my one year old around the restaurant and trying to feed her food in our laps. REALLY GREAT FOOD! We came based on seeing some Keto friendly items on the menu like brussel sprouts and tahini cauliflour. The facility is newish, clean, and well-appointed. All the staff was attentive and friendly. It is evident that they are well managed. We had the cauliflour appetizer, and it was a home run. It was cooked just right and had the perfect amount of heat. My wife's wings were tender and seasoned spot on. I love that they just do salt and pepper and let you dip in sauce as you please. The ranch was definitely house made and fresh. I had a burger without the bun. The patty was a bit small but executed perfectly with top-notch ingredients. Again, the sauce was house made and worth the calories. The Caesar was just fine, too. Our bartender gave us great service and made good cocktails. My only issues are that the music is too loud and they need more craft cocktails on the menu. Attended a lunch with 10 other friends for a holiday celebration. We were seated outside at separate tables. When we inquired about taking the back row of tables inside, we were told that the owner does not allow tables to be pushed together for large parties. The food quality has significantly gone from good to awful. I had a burger that was burned on one side and overcooked on the other. When we told the hostess/bartender/server that we would not be eating there again due not only to the lousy food but seating as well, her response was to tell us that the owner "doesn't care" ... the owner must have money to burn, because the food was crap along with the seating issue was simply the proverbial "nail in the coffin" for the 11 of us ... We concluded that "customer service" and "quality products" are not in the owners vocabulary... We were all certain that we are not the only ones with this opinion ... this eatery was basically empty at lunch time at the mid point of the holiday season... this in itself says volumes about how consumers feel about this place ... too bad, because when we ate here several months ago the food was good ... oh well .... read more

We used to love going to Humble Pie when we lived in downtown Phoenix and have missed their delicious food since moving to the east valley. I honestly had no idea this was here until a cousin suggested meeting up there for lunch. I was very excited to give this place a try. We sat out on the patio, which was great with three kids. The menu had some familiar items and we had to give their pizza and wings a try because it had always been our favorite. We also started with their fries appetizer. All the food was delicious, but I really wish they had a kids menu as almost all their food was a bit adventurous for 2-8 year olds... The ambiance was nice and we had a great time. The service was pretty good as well with an excellent start, but lagging on the backend. My only complaints are that is very expensive (as so much is these days), no kid menu, and the draft beer list is sorely lacking. This place is great. I took my wife on a Saturday for lunch. We had the breakfast enchiladas, poutine, and the gentlemen pizza. All of it was very good. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere is perfect. I went back during the week for lunch and tried the burger and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels were amazing. 10/10 would recommend. The burger was good too, but way over cooked. I asked for medium rare and was told they could only do medium. It was well done for sure. I have a beef with overcooked meat (pun intended), so I wouldn't get that again. However, I want to keep coming back to try out the treat of the menu. It is overall just that good. read more

My friends took me here for my birthday and we enjoyed everything about our experience. The ambiance is calming and warm, the music was light yet jazzy. The waitress was helpful in helping us choose dishes to share and we started the Brussel sprouts which were the best we've ever had! We ordered their appetizers bread which was flavorful and light. Our final dish was a stuffed pasta in a brown butter truffle sauce that was incredible. Finally we had the brownie and ice cream-the brownie was moist and flavorful to the point we almost ordered another one! Their cocktail and wine list is perfect for probably every pallet. Humble Brussels: this was perfectly crisp and the charred jalapeño cilantro hummus was delicious!! The Gentleman humble pie was really good!! There definitely were a good amount of sauté leeks on there and I would probably have preferred a smaller amount. There was a hint of sweetness, but didn't taste the chili oil much. If there was more meat it would be nice. The ricotta on each slice was just simply perfect. Maximus humble pie was really good with the amount of meat, but I thought it was a bit more cheesy than what I would like. Both of the humble pies we got it in cauliflower crust and it was super crispy! Taste amazing and you can't even tell it's cauliflower crust. Service was amazing!! The food was amazing, the drinks were very good, and our waitress Jnev was outstanding and on point with naming the beer on draft, which totally impressed my husband.
