I only checked out their bourbon and Scotch section, but found multiple bottles that I've had a hard time finding on the shelf in the Denver metro area. I ended up walking out with a bottle of Cigsr Cut Joseph Magnus and one of the 2025 Little Books that I have not yet seen for MSRP where I live. Staff was very friendly (no one tried to sell me on their house brands!) and my experience was top-notch. I'm not much of a drinker and I get the Asian flush if I drink more than I should. That's how pathetic I am when it comes to spirits. I however enjoy going to this store with the hubs as they have all kinds of cool stuff! So much selection!! I think what I love the most is admiring all the beautiful bottles of booze. It makes me happy! It's cool they have a small sizes section too! They don't just sell spirits and wine here. They also carry a lot of cool gifts, accessories and even cigars. The tastings they offer are always fun and of course you end up buying it because free tastings always taste better lol. Went on a booze cruise with the wife. This store is fantastic. Not only do they have an amazing assortment of every type of alcohol but they also give out sample tastings. Of course I found a new scotch due to the tasting that was smooth and affordable. The staff goes out of their way to help you and is always friendly. They also make great suggestions. There is nothing not to love about this store. When you need to get some adult beverages, I'd highly recommend it. read more

And the items at the check-out lane will truly have you grabbing items off the shelf before checking out. So why not five-stars? The organization in here can make it hard to locate some things. Came here for a wine tasting class. Love that they had little snack to go with the tasting. Dante provided several slides about each wine/wine pairings. The server (Erika?) kept the flow moving. We were able to sample a variety wines from inexpensive ($13) to higher costing ($219/bottle). Room became warm as more libations were had. Great selection of adult beverages. However, the staff is rude and overly spastic. They're obsessed on ID'ing anyone they lay eyes on, even people who look OBVIOUSLY over 21. I understand it, they don't want to sell to underage people, but they're paranoid and this totally holds up the checking out process, and makes people feel uncomfortable. I'm confused why grocery stores also sell alcohol, and don't do any of this stuff? They just politely ask for ID at checkout, if they even do that. read more

Won a wine class and tasting for 20 on a raffle. Choose the tour of Italian wine and had Deb as our instructor. The wines were really good, learned about the shape of a wine bottle and what it means to your wine. Deb was not only knowledgeable but willing to answer any and all questions. What a great learning and tasting experience. Highly recommend both Deb and the store classes. read more

If I could I would give 0 stars. My husband and I had an awful experience. We came in hoping to get a quick soda and snack. We had my sister in law who is 18. The cashier was super rude about asking for our IDs. Unfortunately she never sold us the drink or snack. I've never experienced anything like this. I used to love coming to total wine but sadly it's off my places to shop. I hope the manager knows that this policy is full of crap. You make us felt singled out and it was embarrassing leaving the store with what we originally came in for. If you are all about helping customers then you would change this policy. My sister in law was scared and it made her feel uncomfortable. You guys should be ashamed. Don't shop here and if you do make sure you watch out for the rude customer service. read more

The store itself is great but they do nothing about people bringing in their dogs. I saw three different customers bring in a dog on Friday, and I was only there for ten minutes! It's understandable if someone has to bring a service dog but there is no way that a Pomeranian IN A CART is a service animal. It's really unsanitary and frankly weird that there are animals allowed in a store that sells food & beverages. read more

This is one of the absolute worst experiences I've ever encountered. I was checking out at cash with a bottle of E.H. TAYLOR. The cashier scanned the bottle and asked me how I was paying, I said credit card and she said okay go ahead... Just wait and hear what happened next... I inserted my credit card and the cashier picked up a call on her headset from the store manager. At this time my credit card is in the machine and I'm attempting to pay, the store manager walks over and grabs the bottle and says we can't sell you this and walks away with the bottle. Horrible customer service!!! I went in this store today and wanted to get a Dr.Pepper and Beef jerky, the manager appointed me to the fridges in the front. As I was getting ready to check out, I noticed the cashier never checked the guys ID infront of me. When i apporoached the cashier right away she asked for my ID and my wife and sister. Very rudly and loud asking for it, she looked at me up and down as though she had a problem with me. I am over the age of 21 and my wife as well. My little sister is 18 and the cashier made a BIG stink about it. She then calls the manager to the front... when I was never buying alcohol in the first place just something to drink and a snack to grab. Manger told us we couldn't buy anything and basically told us to leave. I will never shop here again, never recommending anyone to go this location. I will not give them my service. Honestly, the cashier needs to be trained on CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Refused to sell me WATER. I came in with my boyfriend we were buying WATER and the cashier asked for ID. I didn't have mine but he had his... she called a manager and they said they don't allow people under 21 in the store, but there's people walking around with their kids inside the store as well. I looked up their policy on their website, and this is what it said " we don't allow any person under the age of 21 to enter our store unless accompanied by an adult guardian of legal drinking age*" but even though he had his ID and I didn't have mine, they still refuse to sell us water. So that being said, shouldn't we be allowed to buy the water considering he had his ID? Or do you just not sell to any family coming in with their kids as well? Or do you just cherry pick who you will apply this rule to? read more

After attending a funeral for a friend, I decided to do the adult thing and unwind with some tequila. Since Fortaleza tequila is hard to find, I asked for help from the nearest associate. Cole, who was very knowledgeable about tequila and seemed to genuinely enjoy it, chatted with me for a moment before inviting me to sample a couple of his recommendations. I ended up purchasing two bottles that I'd never heard of but that I thoroughly enjoy. At the cashier, Dakota, who was familiar with both bottles, further confirmed Cole's recommendations. There is so much to choose from, which can be a little overwhelming, but they do a good job of providing tags with descriptions on most items. I guess I didn't pull out my ID quick enough because the 80 year old clerk named "Tim" started yelling at me after I told him I'm pulling it out and rudely knocked at the window near my face and yelled "PULL OUT YOUR ID!!!" I've never in all my life seen customer service act like that and escalate something to a situation. He should be fired for that! And I'm guessing this is not his first time doing something like this. He should of been clocked for thinking he can talk to people like that. read more

This particular one didn't have Silent Pool Gin which is what I was looking for but they did have plenty of mini bottles of other alcohols that I needed for making my super epic hot chocolate board so I was thrilled with that. I went into the store to make a quick run to grab a singular drink on my one day off, but had to bring my young sister as she couldn't be left alone in the car or alone at home. When I get to the cashier they ask to see her ID as well(she is clearly not 21), and they call the manager over and they then very rudely refuse service to me because I brought her in. I suggest to them that she can wait outside since it will be a quick transaction but they refuse saying since they know I'm with her they can not serve me alcohol. Would it have made a difference if I was unsafe with her and left her in the car? They wouldn't have known then and would have served me. Overall this was poorly handled and I was spoken to in a very rude and condescending way. Extremely disappointed in their customer service. read more

It seemed larger and nicer (not that the ones in CA aren't nice, but this one was better) than other locations I had been to. The real reason though I choose to review this location is the beer bar. I don't even like beer, but I thought it was really cool. My boyfriend was totally excited to fill a growler (they offer small and large growlers) with a craft beer. It also seemed like they had a much larger selection of craft beer than other locations. If I find myself in Gilbert again, I will definitely stop off here for some booze! read more

I had the pleasure of going to the grand opening of Total wine and more! They had penny wine tasting, they card you at the door and you put your penny into the hurricane jug. The place is Disneyland for adults, they have every imaginable wine, liquor, or beer that you would be searching for. Since I recently went to Sonoma, California in August, I was looking for a few of my fave wines that I liked, but they did not have some of the smaller wineries and plus they are limited releases. I did find one from Ferrari-Carano, Fumé Blanc, for $10.97. Ferrari told me that you can find some of their wines in a grocery stores, but not the Fume Blanc, so they lied. I also purchased a Kokopelli Cab for $13.99 and Kokopelli is local to Arizona made in Wilcox. This place has excellent deals and glad to see this kind of store in San Tan Village Mall. read more
