We had humble bird delivered to our office and it was savory. Perfectly packaged which equates to excellent service. You can tell it was packed with care. JUICY, tasty chicken, with amazing sauces! And let's not forget the delicious pickels and popcorn chicken! Comfort food at its finest.

I've been wanting to try this place for sometime and when I finally had the chance to, I will say it did not disappoint. It's on long stretch of street in Burbank blvd across an outdoor plant store the parking is quite tough as you might find street parking either in front of it, across from it or around the corners in the residential part which isn't too far. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is cozy feeling not too much decor and has the right amount of it too which is still pleasing to the eyes basically it's not over saturated with wall art and vibrant colors and such.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers are great there were only two of them the owner I think and his employee both helpful and nice by the way. The menu is small and straight to the point which is what I like about this place because too many chicken spots have started to sell burgers and more sides than they need to and strayed away in my opinion from their main meal and protein which is chicken and I think that affects the quality but that's just my thought and to each their own which is why I like humble birds menu, simple and straight to the point. I will say however it's not your typical chicken place where you can buy a combo it's more of à la carte which might be tougher on the wallet but if you can get past that, then you're in for a treat. I got their Nashville nuggs and I got it as hot heat level which the employee warned me that it would be pretty hot as it is ghost pepper/habanero one of those two I can't remember but let me tell you it wasn't that bad and I do like spicy food so I was still able to enjoy it even though my mouth was stinging and it was so juicy! I'm guessing they took a nice big chicken breast and cut it into 9 pieces and fried it but man for them to be able to keep that chicken moist even after being fried was such a nice thing! Most of the time when you get chicken breast it's dry when fried but this one wasn't it was nice and juicy! I think it's most likely the tender part of the chicken breast but even if it wasn't and it was the whole breast cut and fried then props to them they managed to keep it juicy and delicious! I also got a side of fried pickles and their Mac and cheese with extra pickles. I really loved the fried pickles let me tell you, it was flavorful and had a nice crunch to it and on top of that the pickle itself was just so good! It was still crisp and crunchy even after being deep fried and covered in batter it was like a nice double crunch! Paired with the comeback sauce it was divine! Even more so with the chicken nugget too! The fried pickles helped cut the heat a little not by much but still helped. The Mac and cheese was pretty ok, I think it was a bit watery and the noodles were definitely al dente but I like al dente so it was good to me and the flavor was nice it wasn't over powering, it had the right amount of seasoning in it. I do wish the cheese wasn't so runny my personal preference is thick and cheesy for Mac and cheese but if this is how they do it then so be it! I still enjoyed it but again it was as a bit runny/watery but I will say when I ordered it they were still making it so that's probably a possibility as to why and it didn't settle yet and so forth hence the runny cheese but again still good. I think overall this place was great, the chicken was good, the sides were great and the people were friendly. I do want to come back and try their sando, humble melt, small bird and waffles and cookies! Gotta do that waffle and chicken combo oh and by the way their chicken is antibiotic and hormone free which is a great plus! For me it's a 5 star! Thank you guys I'll definitely come back soon! :)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Not in the best area[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], food was ready early. Tried the sando mild . It was juicy and had the just right mild flavor.

Awesome chicken place! Like other reviews say, the wait time is long as every thing is made fresh to order. We originally ordered the bone-in fried chicken but were quoted 35 minutes. We switched to a sandwich and were quoted a 15 minute wait time, but our food still took over 30 minutes to come out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes are simple, with minimal decor and clean interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the hot chicken sando, Humble fries, and fried pickles. Everything came out hot, juicy, and flavorful. Best fried pickles I've had, and you can tell the coleslaw isn't some bagged mix! I will note that the "hot" spice level felt like a medium, but maybe my spice tolerance is high. We also met one of the owners, Luis! Luis was so kind and chatted with us for a bit. He even gave us a few free banana nut muffin cookies! Will be back. Awesome place to go to- just order ahead if you can!

This was a great find for chicken! We each had a Sando and split a mac & cheese side. Good sized sandwich and with the side, it was perfect. We both did Medium spicy, and I would definitely spice up next time. Mac & Cheese was pretty tasty, too. Nothing fancy, just a good side. Fried Chicken looked good at next table and I might try that next time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No fdills, but it's clean and comfortable inside, and looks like they have some outdoor seating, but it was raining when we visited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was super friendly and helpful.

Stopped by here for dinner on the way up north and I was happily surprised! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop was empty when I went on a Thursday at 6, but quickly filled up after.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the classic sando with mild spice and their loaded fries to share. Everything was made fresh to order, so it did take a little longer but definitely worth the wait. The chicken was so juicy and crispy on the outside. The fries were also really yummy and seasoned well. Service was super friendly as well! Definitely recommend if you are craving a chicken sandwich.

Wanted a chicken sandwich so decided to check this place out and it didn't disappoint. We were greeted the moment we walked in which I loved. I obviously got their sando and decided to get a mild spice level. For drinks they have canned sodas or their house made lemonade so I of course had to get that as well. They were kind enough to give us an estimate of how long it would take which I appreciated. From the moment my sandwich hit was placed on the table I knew it was going to be good but it was honestly way better than I expected. I had never had a chicken sandwich with onions before but I wasn't mad at it, it worked so well. The chicken had really good flavor and we actually really wanted to take home some popcorn chicken for later but the sandos were so filling that we didn't end up doing that, we will be back to try it tho! I would also recommend their house lemonade, you can get soda anywhere but not everywhere has really good house made lemonade. We will most definitely be back here again!

Burned my mouth clean off... but it's good. Definitely worth the wait.. and you will wait but definitely very tasty. Service was nice. I would come back in a heartbeat.. yummy My sandwich wasn't spicy.. just hot because I didn't wait

The chicken sandwich was well seasoned, spicy, juicy, and crispy. The creamy mac and cheese was insane, creamy and satisfying. Overall, a great chicken spot with plenty of flavor.

Found humble bird while searching for a place to eat dinner at and I am so glad we made this stop. Customer service is great. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Nashville nugs and the humble melt with a side of fries. We all got the medium spice level and I will say it's pretty spicy. I love spice so it didn't bother me but if you're not a super spice lover I would definitely stick with the mild or no spice. The flavor is amazing! That humble melt is so delicious! The perfect combination of hot chicken and coleslaw I also enjoyed how the slaw is made with no mayo and the fresh raw onion is honestly the cherry on top! This is honestly one of the best hot chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Top tier! The fries are also very yummy! Well seasoned, not too soggy not too crunchy perfection! Everything is so fresh and made to order so it will take about 20 minutes or more to make (I am assuming depending on how busy they are) [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is pretty chill but I will say the bathrooms need some TLC they were a little dirty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Other than that it was a great experience and the food was delightful we all enjoyed it and we will definitely come back when we are in town.

Tried Humble Bird after seeing all the good reviews and wow, so worth it! I got the Sando, fries, and a side of ranch. The ranch is fire and I'm pretty sure it's made in house. The chicken was amazing, super crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The staff was really nice and welcoming, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the vibe was chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely come check it out and try it for yourself. 10/10 -V

Soul food restaurants know exactly how to coat the wings so that they become insanely crispy when fried. Due to a an issue with the freeway closure and horrible traffic, we were very late and she kindly honored our reservation. The food was fantastic. Great crunchy and spice on the chicken (it is on the spicy side so be careful if you cannot handle the heat). The little corn breads were just the right amount. We tried the yams, which is a must, but also shared some of the other sides. The cabbage is cooked kind of like collard greens. The butter beans and rice is very tasty. We also tried the mashed potatoes and gravy. All sides are vegan, which I thought was done for the local L.A. crowd, but we were told the sides are vegan in the original recipes.
