This is an updated Autumn review from playing today on Oct 10. I'll add it's muddy in the recent visit. If you decide to walk it, prepare to track a lot of mud on your pull cart and golf shoes. The first few holes are a land mine of geese poo, like a public restroom for geese to do their business. If you're a clean freak and want to keep your trunk clean, you might want to pony up and get a golf cart to save the hassle. It's a warm sunny day and I've played golf in worse conditions with the rain and mud, but this type of mud is the worst - gummy, cakes on. We took 30 minutes after attempting to take off. The staff only offered a muddy broomstick, which wasn't much help. We couldn't use their power wash. During Twilight time, prepare to play with greens with Autumn leaves all over (see pic as reference). There aren't many hazards/bodies of water, so chances of losing balls are minimal.
We started at 3:15 pm on Sunday as a group of 4, all walking. We are primarily beginners and played slow, 13 holes by 6 pm. I have to admit I was terrible today, I was Duffy the Bogey Slayer. There's still enough light, so it's possible to finish as single or pair if there's no one in front. Weekend Twilight rate is $38.54/per person +tax. read more
