When i got to this office, everything changed for me. Dr Franklin is an expert on what he does. He is gentle when it comes to numbing and he is efficient in his work. They are always cheerful and do what they can to accommodate you when life comes up. They will call to check on you after work is done. The vibe is very patient focused. It started with just me as a patient. Now my whole family comes to this office. My kid even mentioned how painless the process was. If you're lucky enough to get in, you will see what i mean.

It's very nice having an intelligent professional not be condescending. I know we all have dealt with those. He also has some insane shot giving skills, I'm willing to call him an artist. Bonus points, if you listen to Radio Lab on NPR he vaguely sounds sounds like Jad Abumrad, which I find very soothing. All the other professionals in the office are some of the most genuinely kind people I've met, everyone on staff is thoughtful, thorough, and attentive. Going to the dentist has not suddenly become fun, but it is very easy to show up to this office for appointments(catching up on a decade of neglect). I have so much appreciation for them and mostly their putting up with me.

I cant feel anything when I have to get a novacane shot, and sometime, if i am feeling brave, I will have a cavity filled with out numbing, and he goes quick and is very thorough so he doesnt have to go back and do it again a second time. Mary, the dental hygentist, is amazing. She makes the appointment go by fast and my teeth are sparkling when I leave. Because I live in the Bay Area, its har to make an appointment that fits my schedule when i am in town and their schedule, which is always pretty busy. But I will make it work because these guys are that good. Thanks for my teeth always being in good health and looking marvelous!

At first, I thought this would be a great dental office -- the staff was friendly, and the dentist…read moreseemed nice but a bit standoffish. I came here because I have major anxiety about the dentist and was referred by one of my own patients, hoping for understanding and care. Later, when I called because I was in serious pain, he prescribed Motrin, which I already take. When I explained that, he said he couldn't prescribe anything stronger because he wasn't sure how it would interact with Trazodone -- a medication I clearly listed in my chart as one I'm allergic to. That was a huge red flag showing he hadn't even read my chart. Instead of admitting his mistake, he became dismissive and made me feel like I was seeking drugs instead of real pain relief. I was made to feel beneath the people he normally serves -- even though I work just as hard as anyone else and have excellent insurance. I don't understand why I had to be treated differently. I'm not saying don't go here -- maybe he treats others better -- but my experience was unprofessional, disappointing, and left me feeling disrespected.

Dr. Payne listened very closely and addressed all of my concerns while taking into consideration my medical history. I was able to get in for the extraction 2 weeks later (1/19). I'm not even 48 hours post extraction and I have not had any pain, and very minimal swelling and discomfort (manageable with ibuprofen/Tylenol). Dr. Payne called me the evening of the procedure to check in on me. I had a terrible previous experience with an oral surgeon in Elk Grove with my bottom wisdom teeth, so I was not expecting such a smooth and easy recovery. I am so happy I went through with it and that I was recommended to Dr. Payne.

Not sure if it the ADHD or just in general I'm a figgety person but also don't like my mouth being worth on. Very sensitive teeth. Anyways that out of the way, the front desk was super nice. The lobby was decent size not cramped, just right and some photos on the way. I had a slight wait from my appointment time. It wasn't much, but a staff member kept me up to date on time frame. Like 15 or 10 mins. I mean it wasn't bad. Now let's get to the dentist, * Pratik Makadia* , super nice guy, laid back, not to judgemental , just enough to help me get motivated to take care of my teeth better, but a super nice easy way of doing it. Highly recommend him if you do go. Now the visit itself, scared and crawling out of my skin. But the staff was super nice and friendly, and quick about things. They had a lot of cool tech stuff the when I was a kid well, never was around , and the tech just wasn't there. I'm in my 40s just fyi. The lady at the end of my visit went over all my bad teeth and costs, ouch. lol. But I knew I haven't been to the dentist in soooo long. But anyways, I really recommend you trying this place out. Not sure why it has a 3 ish star rating. So far I think they are very friendly, quick with their work but not crazy fast there in a hurry. Try them out, get that exam done. I go back next week for a cleaning.

The Dr I met with I didn't catch his name he was partially bald, rushed through my diagnosis didn't explain much of anything but let me know I needed the root canal, we scheduled it I came back and I was met with a completely different dr. A woman she was of Indian descent wasn't listed on the website as a dr there I was very confused but trusted them. It was the most painful root canal I was there for over 3 hours mouth open getting worked on. My temp tooth fell out 2 times while waiting for my crow to come in.
