Anyway, I ordered a walking taco, thinking it would be hand-sized, but the walking taco is huge! They filled up a styrofoam container full of Frito corn chips, seasoned ground beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños and a huge scoop of sour cream. It was so big that I had to sit down to eat it. If a walking taco is so large that you must sit to consume it, does it cease to be a walking taco? This is an important question. The walking taco was very tasty, and I found myself eating it very fast because all of the elements were perfectly bite-sized and tasty. This is a scarfable meal. I also got a side of mac and cheese, because another reviewer said that it was delicious. And it was! I'm not sure which I liked better. I ate both at the same time. Although it wasn't available when we ate there, they also make their own donuts (in a food truck!). Peru seems to attract "labor of love" little establishments like this, and this is a gem.
