It was about seven minutes from my hotel, which wasn't that bad. Navigating around the building wasn't difficult, but it was a little confusing Learned that the coffee they use is Crimson Cup... which is made locally in my hometown in Ohio. Coffee was good. I was disappointed only because the coffee was crimson as I was hoping to have something roasted locally in Muncie. Tasted great tho. The bakery items I chose were not my favorite. The spinach pastry tasted like something you would get on an airplane. The butterscotch squares were good but way too sweet for my liking. As nice as the owners were and as good as the coffee was I probably would look for a local roaster only because I am from out of town.

There is seating and Wifi if you need a workspace. And the employees have been friendly every time I've visited. There is also a drive-thru for easy ordering.

I love the faith-based ministries that they are involved in, and they also have a room on the side with devotionals and books to read for kids and adults, which seems like a nice place to hang out for awhile. Once again the waitress side went back and immediately picked up the same order of hash browns still not cooked as average requested. This is the type of service that they perform here is not acceptable. But one thing they do is ask you if you want to leave a tip for service. Getting a tip means you've done something right. In my opinion this whole thing was not correct. You pay for a meal you spend your money you ask for what you want you should get what you request. Not a real big fan of sunshine cafe.
