Came here for a 2nd opinion. Long story short sprained my ankle & seen someone in Enterprise who said nothing was wrong while I know something was not right. So I came here. There is a little of a wait for scheduling but even after booking a few weeks later Dr. Watson in a matter of 5min knew something was wrong. Got me an MRI and boom took care of me right away. The past reviews of waiting, the 4x I been here I never waited for more than 30min at max. But then again if you have a bunch of people in there obv you'll be waiting. They have to be the worst medical facility that I ever had the displeasure of being in. My appointment was at 10:00, I was there at 10:04 they said that I had to be there at 9:30. Which was a lie, showed them my appointment slip. It was not very busy, the doctor could have seen me, I wouldn't understand why? I was there on time. I got angry, I told them wasn't going to go anywhere until I saw a doctor. The doctor refused to see me, mind you I am a combat vet, who proudly served my country. And,to make matters worse, they take their time to see you. I called my VA representative and they were able to put in a consult for me to see another doctor, by then I wa leaving, the police came and they wanted to press charges for whatever reason. Maybe because I refuse to leave until I was seen by a doctor. I had insurance, I was there on time, I don't know why they treat people the way they do. They're not a good place, I will not recommend them to anybody. read more

Best doctors you'll ever visit! My husband and I both have used Hughston Clinic for back, hip, shoulder and knee Issues over many years. The customer service at the front desk and in scheduling ( April and Rhonda) is overwhelmingly good. And I worked in customer service for 34 years so I know good service when I see it! Ms Sandra Phillips in the Columbus office took the time to called me and discuss with me in person an insurance issue that saved me so much time and money. The Doctors and PAs are top notch in knowledge and even though they are surgeons, they always try to take another route before surgery. I would recommend the Houston clinic to anyone who is having any skeletal or muscular problems. read more

Rude. Unprofessional. Vindictive. Wife saw a doctor two days before Xmas, and he left after sending her for MRI, without giving the pain RX he had mentioned. Also promised to transfer to another doctor since he was off for next 2 weeks. Following week, we go in to ask about seeing new doctor, told it was impossible. When we went to a competing facility, they were rude about releasing the records and deliberately took over an hour to do so. read more

I've never felt the need to write a Yelp review until now. I have no idea how the service is here because I've never been seen! I made an appointment by calling the main number, in Columbus, GA but told them I wanted an appointment in Dothan. So they scheduled my appointment for late the following week. When I got to the appointment they told me I had been scheduled for the office in Georgia! I couldn't be seen that day. So, I was rescheduled for a few weeks from that day in Dothan. So I just show up for my appointment and because I don't have my Tricare referral paper that came in the mail, I can't be seen at all. She offered to reschedule again but my ankle is pretty much fine by now. Twice I have wasted time and gas to get this appointment to be turned away. I do not recommend this place. read more

The lack of professionalism at this clinic amazes me! I waited over an hour for my appointment at which time I walked out and asked to be rescheduled and was given a date over a month out...the two previous appointments with this clinic where scheduled out just as far in advance and every single one I was called to reschedule to move the date further out. My partner fell and broken her hand in several places. We had went to Southern Bone and Joint first and one other doctor first and they wouldn't take time to explain the injury and wasn't how they would repair it til they had her in surgery. We finally got into the Hughston Clinic and they were very professional and very patient with us. They took time to explain the injury and showed us exactly how he was going to repair it. Surgery was on the 12th of August and she still is in recovery from the surgery. Dr. McDonald was the surgeon and he is awesome. He even takes his own after hour calls. She is in the process of going through physical therapy on her hand. Everyone at the clinic has made us feel welcomed. We would definitely recommend the Hughston Clinic. read more

These people are a waste of time. I waited FIVE WEEKS for an appointment. When I finally was seen by the doc he said he couldn't see anything on my x-ray so I PROBABLY had a bulging or ruptured disk but would not do an MRI because I seemed fine at the time. Of course I seemed fine. It was five weeks after my injury! Six months later I'm injured again, in the same way. This time it's a six week wait. These people are worthless for all but the most chronic long term issues. read more

I think Dr. Waldrop and his team are excellent at their job and very professional. The physical therapy people are the best I have ever experienced, and believe me I have experience a LOT. They (Maggie, Amy, Sarah, Paige, and Tiffany) are also very good at their job and very professional...ALL of them, including Susan at the front desk. The only problem I have with them is waiting to see the doctor. I have had to set in the waiting room for 1 1/2 hours waiting on my appointment. I know they are busy but I think that is a little excessive. read more

I have been trying for 5 days now to get ahold someone from my husbands doctor's office to call me back to schedule him an appointment to have an epidural done. Still have heard nothing. Our first dealing with the Hughston Clinic was wonderful. Not so much this time. I also don't understand why every time you call to make an appointment you get an answering machine instead of a real person. Dr. Tucker is AMAZING!! One of the best. Surgery and recovery have been great. Very pleased with him. He has always taken time to answer questions and inform us. However, the office staff I cannot give the same praise. I have never been there for an appointment and been taken back at my appointment time. I always waited anywhere from 30 mins to 1.5 hours. I don't know if they over schedule or what since he is only there on Fridays. I have left messages, been disconnected ect and had no return calls. I feel like the staff needs better training. read more

These docs drive all the way from Columbus Ga to see patients, and I commend that! My husband recently had shoulder surgery, and we could not be more pleased with the care, and would use these physicians again! They are building a new building and the plans look great. I am sure it will be more comfortable and organized. They just outgrew the one they were in. We have never waited more than an hour to see the physican although he is always very busy. read more

I waited two hours before being seen by the nurse, after which she told me to move back to the waiting room to wait for the doctor. Once in the waiting room I asked the receptionist how long it would be, she replied with "I don't know". After some back and forth she went and asked the doctor, came back out, and told me, "four more patients ahead of you". I then asked her how long it would be, and she said "no idea". She then offered to reschedule my appointment. I asked her if I rescheduled, would I actually be seen at my appointment time. She replied with "no". She stated that until the hire another PA the enormous wait times would continue. Its also worth mentioning that while I was sitting in the waiting room , two other patients told me they had appointments when the same doctor I had, at the exact same time. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Anything thinking about going to the Houghton clinic should look at other alternatives. One star is to many, if there was a no star option I would have rated them a 0 out of 5 stars. If the doctors and staff are so unprofessional that they cannot even remotely keep there appointment times, that are probably unprofessional in other aspects of their craft! read more
