The secretaries and waiting areas here are consistent with the business' specialty. When I ended up finding out I had a kidney stone, this place was suggested for me to try, and I'm glad the hospital I went to just around the corner suggested I try them. The application process for this specialist's appointments is fairly easy, and the information seems to be seemlessly transferred technologically between offices. Although this office is attached onto Northern Dutchess Hospital(which provides an easy transportation for doctors and their patients during the day), the parking isn't that great. They have only a few spots in front of their building that seem to always be in use by other non-patient(but patient's relatives of the hospital). No one seems to notice the signs up on each of the parking spots they "own." However, it seems like no one else really cares that these people are taking their spots anyway. But once you arrive inside, you'll notice that this location isn't as decorative as the one in Kingston, NY provides. But, being the doctors are the same, means your level of service is the same, and that's what effectively matters most. Appointments here are thorough, and so, coming here isn't too bad.

The staff takes care of all the paperwork for insurance and or Medicare. That's one less thing you have to worry about. There are several doctors at this location who treat urological concerns and conditions. There is ample free parking behind the building and a marquee that covers the driveway drop-off to the front entrance.

Get there early appointment was at 11:00…read more Go to front desk of 25 Hackett Blvd ask where I have to go for my ultrasound before my urology appointment. Mind you this is my first time at this place so I have no clue! I tell him that I have a urology appointment at 11:30 but I have to have an ultrasound first, is this the right place and he says yes radiology is down the hall to the right. Sit in waiting area for 10 minutes to get registered and the lady says you were supposed to go to 23 Hackett blvd Urology. Proceed to Urology stand in line for five minutes to get registered only to be told I can't have the ultrasound because I'm ten minutes late. I asked if I could still see the dr at my 11:30 scheduled time and she said the PA said no because she doesn't want to see me without an ultrasound but we can reschedule you! The whole time while I was being told this the girl was smirking at me like it was funny. well I wish kidney stones on the whole entire nasty front staff and the drs for thinking my health is a laughing matter and not relevant enough to still be able to see the dr or PA that I've never seen before! If I could I wouldn't give Dr. Colbert any stars. I was referred to her by my chiropractor and I…read morewent to her about a year and a half ago. The office is like stepping into another period of time. Didn't even have a working scale! I found her to be dismissive. Total lack of communication. What I thought was a physical was actually a first patient visit. At least that's how I was billed. And one follow-up became another follow-up appointment without any diagnosis or explanation. At the first folow-up, she looked quickly at my blood work and then didn't go through it with me. She referred me to a urologist in Albany who had had a lawsuit filed against him for negligence. From his reviews, it was apparent that surgery was his usually his first course of action and even Dr. Colbert stated that that was probably what he would recommend. I was horrified. Then, bookkeeping sent me a bill for a visit that I had already paid for. When I tried to explain to the bookkeeper what happened, she was very defensive. I even sent a letter with a copy of my payment and the receipt and no response of apology was forthcoming. They just want to get someone in as often as possible and bill as frequently as possible. I'm not sooo old not to catch them at their scam. There was no way I was returning to her office for a third visit. I started my search for a new doctor which, happily, I have found! But the main reason I am writing today, is to inform others of another form of Dr. Colbert's "care". Yesterday, I received a letter that shocked me to my core. Basically, it stated that I have 30 days to respond to whether I want to remain in her "care" and if don't respond I will be dismissed from her "care"; that she "will be unable to continue as your physician and will withdraw from further professional attendance on your behalf". In all my years of going to doctors and even if only once, I have never received such a letter. If she had "cared" from the outset I wouldn't here with a proverbial gun to my head. Obviously, she never took the Hippocratic Oath "Do No Harm" - her oath is "Do Not Care"!
