Walked directly in to the lobby reception and was greeted by two friendly desk associates. The check in required photo identification for both of us. Clear instructions to the Dr Office on the first floor. DR CHOI's office: Checked in by Kelly~ friendly and efficient. Nearly immediately checked with procedures and sent us to X~ray registration on level one lobby. ( this seemed like the only redundant process) there was no line, so we were able to check in quickly with the friendly desk representative who knew we were on our way- Good communication between Kelly at Dr Choi's office and Radiology reception. Within minutes we were on the way to 2nd floor radiology. RADIOLOGY: smooth arrival experience ( I recommend that you snap a photo of your script for your records before handing it over. They were accommodating for this when we asked, this may save time from having to ask for records later. WAITING: one other patient was in the waiting room when we arrived. The waiting room is organized, well lit, and clean. There is a TV The wait was reasonable and brief about 7 minutes. Erica and student Tammy greeted us and requested the script ~ we directed them to the desk agent. Within a minute, they left for X-ray. More pleasant staff. All is going smoothly for Radiology. I will review Dr Choi separately.

From the moment I arrived, I was quickly swept up in the smooth and caring processing and care of hospital staff: after a thorough preliminary exam, I was soon transferred to the hospital itself for 24 hours of careful and thoughtful treatment. I was deeply moved by the kind attention of every member of their staff and the warm dynamic they employed. Discharged yesterday, I am now slowly returning to normal thanks to the unquestioned care of this fine institution and dedicated staff. At least five people there checked my pharmacy information, yet the prescription never arrived. Hudson Valley medical practices are negligent and irresponsible and for the most part staffed by incompetents. The doctor on call whom I finally got on the phone and who refused to give me his name said it's "inappropriate" for me to complain to a doctor about prescription issues. Well, I think it's inappropriate for a medical practice to play Russian roulette with a patient's health by not sending critical prescriptions. And the name of the doctor I spoke to is Sankar Varanasi. Ain't no hiding in the digital age!

The excuse was that they were double booked and only had four rooms available. However people who were present after me were called in before me. If they know they have two providers in and are double booking appointments they are setting themselves, and patients, up for failure. Book only for appointments you can accommodate. I don't know why that's rocket science. Not pleased. However my provider was much better. She was friendly and professional.

Took my daughter to this ER. This was one of the worst ER…read moreexperiences I have ever had. I drove two hours to help my daughter, who was suffering from excruciating head pain. She was placed in a hallway in a chair and left there for hours without being attended to. After waiting more than four hours, I went to the nurses' station to address the lack of care. It is unacceptable that no one checked on her during that time. Shortly afterward, several nurses gathered and began discussing me. One nurse, who was tall and wearing pink scrubs, rudely threatened to have me removed for "disruption." I was not disruptive; I was advocating for my daughter, who was in severe pain. The behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. Patients and their families deserve timely care, communication, and basic courtesy.
