He started out as my PCP but recent events dictated the need of a pulmonologist. Could not ask for better than his knowledge, his service, his insight. I live in the NYC area; I travel to him for my appointments. I turned down insurance he didn't take and was told we have good doctors where I live. I responded my PCP is and will be Dr Jalaj. He's that good?? Yes, he's that good. My daughter had an urgent medical emergency years ago. I credit him for leading the way in saving her life. She also travels to see him. The staff is likewise knowledgable, friendly and willing to help. Is this practice that good? Damned right they are.

WELL, apparently I have no idea what happened to my middle little toe BUT I was in the right hands with Dr Raisa Tsvaygenbaum. She's a super pro and absolutely awesome and had great bedside manners but was also super knowledgeable and helpful navigating this unknown, suspected toe sprain adventure. Walked in with confused and not knowing what in the world is going on and walked right out with a foot brace to wear for a whole month. Pretty crazy but very happy to be in the hands of a professional like her! There's nothing worse than landing the wrong Dr or therapist or just feeling unheard during your visit. She was the whole opposite of that and also the staff here working with her are so so kind. If you're looking for a reliable and helpful podiatrist, she's your girl.

I scheduled an appointment two months in advance to see Dr. Robert Epstein today, 23Jan2015 at…read more1:30pm. I arrived at the doctors office just after 12:30pm and was immediately checked in. At the time there were only two other people in the waiting area - so I was pleased. However, I proceeded to wait in the patient waiting area for over an hour (after my scheduled appointment time) with no communication from staff regarding the delay. At approximately 2:30pm I approached the reception desk to ask if it is normal practice to have patients wait more than an hours time before being called in. The receptionists sarcastic response was "DEPENDS". That is extremely rude and completely unprofessional. Not only did I wait two hours but no one could even tell me when I would be seen. It was only when I approached the receptionists desk to make my inquiry did she then get the nurse to admit Dr. Epstein was backed up. Naturally, I cancelled my appointment -- as I have no interest in ever going back to this office. Lucky for me I only required a routine physical exam and was not actually sick.This is not the first time I've experienced this irresponsible neglegence at this office. It is very disheartening to see people behave so inconsiderately. I waited patiently for two hours. I would have continued to wait had I stayed because there is no consideration for anyone's time. Basically, when you make an appointment at this office you should be sure to block your calendar for the day's entirety as this is how long you could wait to be seen at this office. -Severely disgruntled

4 stars because I hate getting the run around from their phone system but it's gotten better in…read morerecent years. Hard to write a review for the entire group but it's so convenient to have a 1-stop shop for all your medical needs (especially when your primary doc or OB/GYN refers you to a specialist and all they have to do is email them your scans instead of you requesting a copy, waiting a couple days, etc.) It's very well organized. They also have a good relationship with the Vassar Ambulatory Surgery Center so they schedule a lot of outpatient procedures there (right across that manmade pond they have there). I'm not a huge fan of how these medical groups are getting so huge, but I have to say that the majority of the care that I get there (besides a few doctors in the internal medicine and orthopedic specialties, who shall remain nameless) is excellent. I've been a patient with these guys since 1994

My family and I (my husband, myself and two children) have gone to Dr. Kavulich for 14 years. Dr…read more Kavulich is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She is always caring, compassionate and personable. She's always interested in "you"! Most recently my 17 year old son woke up with a severe neck spasm. He couldn't get out of bed and was in severe pain. I called Dr. Kavulich and she made time to see him right away. She spent an hour treating him with various types of adjustments and therapy. The next day he was at least 70% better!
