Because of their clinical oversight, it took a grueling five months of arguing just to secure a refund on these defective devices, which left my feet swollen and in severe pain for months. The billing department's administrative conduct regarding a subsequent office visit is beyond words. I spent months in a circular back-and-forth trying to get a standard billing error corrected. I was systematically ignored, met with total silence on explicit written disputes sent in July and August, and repeatedly told "nothing is wrong with your bill" by defensive staff members trying to extract unbundled, stacked co-pays. It literally took a formal consumer complaint filed with the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) for this billing office to finally look into my ledger. The moment a state investigation tracking number was issued, the insurance company forced a backend correction, proving the practice's billing codes were invalid from day one. This office operates with a shocking lack of administrative oversight, relies on intimidation tactics to get patients to overpay, and provides subpar medical care. If you value your health, your time, and your financial security, go somewhere else.

The operation was successful, and for that I can highly recommend each and every person involved in my stay, from the doctors, to the nurses, to the technicians, to the cleaning personnel. I calculated that I interacted with over 100 people during my stay, and every one of them was cheerful, pleasant and encouraging, even at 3 am when there is a need to draw blood. Nobody likes to be hospitalzed, but, if you find yourself in need of cardiac care, you could not do any better than the care I received at Vassar Brothers... Five stars!

Walked directly in to the lobby reception and was greeted by two friendly desk associates. The check in required photo identification for both of us. Clear instructions to the Dr Office on the first floor. DR CHOI's office: Checked in by Kelly~ friendly and efficient. Nearly immediately checked with procedures and sent us to X~ray registration on level one lobby. ( this seemed like the only redundant process) there was no line, so we were able to check in quickly with the friendly desk representative who knew we were on our way- Good communication between Kelly at Dr Choi's office and Radiology reception. Within minutes we were on the way to 2nd floor radiology. RADIOLOGY: smooth arrival experience ( I recommend that you snap a photo of your script for your records before handing it over. They were accommodating for this when we asked, this may save time from having to ask for records later. WAITING: one other patient was in the waiting room when we arrived. The waiting room is organized, well lit, and clean. There is a TV The wait was reasonable and brief about 7 minutes. Erica and student Tammy greeted us and requested the script ~ we directed them to the desk agent. Within a minute, they left for X-ray. More pleasant staff. All is going smoothly for Radiology. Called Hudson Valley Dermatology and could have a doctor check it out the next morning. Dr Phil examined the area and stated it didn't appear to be cancerous. Took a biopsy absolutely no pain he is quite skilled. Many of my friends warned me that procedure is very painful not true. He proscribed medication and in days the ugly spot disappeared . Dr. Phil is a wonderful diagnostician highly skilled highly trained dermatologist would go back in a New York minute if needed

I was blatantly told that the doctor tells them to book multiple patients for the same time. So this was not a Dr running behind for spending more time on a patient. If you're booking five patients for the same time, how are you giving each patient ample time to check their body for skin cancer? My husband had the same thing happen to him the month before. And both times there was multiple people in the waiting room way past their schedule time feeling fed up and uncared for. We will be finding a new dermatologist. This place has gone downhill since they moved to a new office.
