Hello, I had a 40' x 14' foot concrete patio replaced with…read moreCambridge pavers. The patio is along the back of my house and there are 2 doors going into the house from the patio, one slider and one hinged door. The new patio looks good enough but the whole thing is too high relative to the house, the top of the pavers are the same height as the top of the door saddle. I can not install a storm door because it will hit a floor mat. I had asked Manuel to make the patio about an inch below the door saddles during the estimate and again before the pavers were installed, he agreed but didn't do it. It's discouraging, the patio looks nice but it's the wrong height. Now I face the dilemma of living with it or having another contractor rip it out and install it at the right height.

The only requirement was that I have my tank top open and ready for them when they arrived. (So....you must locate and dig to expose your septic tank cover on your own -- usually not difficult). They arrived with their truck right on time the next day, navigated their huge truck backwards up my narrow drive expertly and had the pump pumping into the truck in just a few minutes. It would be an understatement that my project was complicated and intimidating. Sitting on a 50 +…read morefoot high cliff, I had a retaining wall separating from my backyard in desperate need of replacement. Limited access to the property and backyard further complicated the scope and ease of executing this project. My wife and I solicited several inquiries from different contractors, and were only made more aware of the complications and challenges ahead based upon the lack of willingness many demonstrated in taking on this project for us. Finding a contractor willing to navigate the challenges of the property while executing within a realistic timeline and within an affordable price seemed impossible. That was until we spoke with Maggio. Artie was confident from day one that he and his team would be able to create an attainable resolution. Artie and his team came up with several approaches we could take on executing the retaining wall replacement, provided us a reasonable price, and then met every benchmark set during our project planning and execution. While on site, Maggio's team was efficient and effective proceeding with care and safety but working at a pace that exceeded our expectations. The completed work is gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations for what our backyard would look like.
