With limited options at that point, I did some quick research and found PC Med Center which was very close to her house. Not knowing if they were going to give good service, or scam her, or what, I crossed my fingers and told her to take it there. A few days later she called me to thank me for the recommendation. Apparently it was just a single loose wire, which they were able to identify and fix. They did not overcharge her for what ended up being a fairly simple fix. Props to them for being able to identify the problem so quickly, and not trying to scam her!

When returning laptop to me he told me he had it all apart and would reassemble in about 20 minutes. Well 1 minute later he gave everything back to me.
