I've been going here for years, especially to see Tim. I have never had a bad experience. When I used to get my nails done regularly, I would always bring my young daughter and they would spoil her and take great care of her, even though she's so shy. Tim is going on vacation so he recommended to do Casey... which I saw yesterday and she was fabulous as well! I'll be back to do my wedding nails with her. I did not have a good experience here. The tech was rough. One of my fingers bled. He didn't push my cuticles back or clean up around my nails at all - I had to ask him to when I realized we were done after he had me go wash my hands and began to clean up his area. I got an acrylic set and there was dried powder on my skin that I also asked him to clean up. He seemed annoyed that I made this request. He did not put lotion on my hands which has been routine for every manicure I've gotten done elsewhere. My nails are a week old now and look 3 weeks old, and very sloppy. I have given this salon many chances and every time, I am disappointed. I will not be returning. read more

Amazing service. As soon as you walk in the salon you're greeted and asked what service you'd like. I had already scheduled an appointment so I was sat down quickly. I scheduled it with Tim because I have truly never been disappointed by his work. He was super quick and efficient. We shared some good conversations while he did an amazing job on my nails. I thought the price was reasonable for a full set of acrylics with tedious design along with how quick he was also able to get them done (35 minutes). I will continue going back! read more

HORRIBLE rude talk crap about you in their language, aggressive and don't listen. My nails need to be filled already after three days, uncleanly and skip steps, basic steps, go to La La nails. Nails not as expected. I went for a pedicure and manicure with gel polish with overlay. Manicure provided was not really a manicure. Acrylic was applied before doing the manicure. My hands soaked in cold water that barely covered my nails for about 1minute. Natural nails were not cleaned underneath nor shaped. I was not asked how I'd like my nails shaped after the acrylic was applied. I l wanted an overlay to have the gel polish last longer. The acrylic is very thick and extends past my nail length(not an overlay) I was charged for a full set & discounted on the manicure that was not provided. I Travels an hour to get there. A male tech was very rude to me and hurt my ankle whilst he was tryin to file my heel . Which by the way filed it so much it opened into a crack by the next morning . My friend and I went into Hudson nails on a rainy Tuesday. I got a gel pedicure and my friend got an acrylic nail fill. We picked our colors from their SUPER wide variety (the most colors I have ever seen at a nail salon) and sat down. When they started working with us, my friend and I both noticed that the colors we chose were very different than what was going on our nails. My friend chose a light baby blue color and when the first coat was applied, she noticed the real polish color was a super bright turquoise blue. We made multiple comments that it didn't seem like the right colors but they didn't care to fix it and their only explanation was that the sample colors were faded from the sunlight. The older man that did my toes seemed like he was rushing and not doing a good job exfoliating. He cut my toenails super crooked and didn't do a good job painting my nails at all. After I paid, I noticed my big toe had a huge unpolished strip so I asked to get it fixed. A younger man (who had just gotten done doing my friends nails) was really nice about it but ended up cutting my skin when he was using the sander to get the messed up polish off. I went in with my friend to get my feet done and the guy that did my feet was so ruff with my feet strong handing my feet and would not listen to me when I told him not to use a cheese grader on my feet. After being ruff with my feet and legs my feet and legs have been sore since. My feet doesn't even look like they where even done. read more

Went for a "girls day" to get manis and pedis. The technicians were extremely unfriendly. Seems like they couldn't get us out of there fast enough. It was all very mechanical, no interaction, and they were actually quite rude. It is a luxury for me to get a pedicure, and this was the least luxurious experience I've ever had at a nail salon. The Wham-Bam-Thank you maaaaam of nail salons. I appreciate that they got me right in for a regular manicure but when the prices for mani/pedi's are the same everywhere there is no reason I will ever return here. The lady tried to upsell me (of course!) on acrylic nails and when I declined then she went in for a pedicure cross-sell. I declined again! Be strong ladies or you will walk out totally waxed with thin ass eyebrows and acrylic toes and hands and possibly some makeup application!!!! We have all been there. So after she realized I just wanted a basic 15.00 manicure she proceeded to soak my hand in water for possibly 30 seconds a piece, barely filed my nail, and painted my nails and then did a little half ass rub/massage on just the base of my fingers because my nails were just painted. I have never had this happen before. Typically the process is to soak, file, cut cuticles, they do a massage on your forearm and hands and then you wash your hands, sit back down and get your nails painted, let them dry and then your done. me and my mom came here to get pedis for my prom and her work event and they did a horrible job on her they started with barely giving us the spa treatment that we paid for like a few minutes and done they barely rubbed our legs or anything left residue on my legs from the scrub globbed the paint on my moms nails and she had to get them repainted then they didn't get rid of all the dead gross skin and we had to ask them to take that off. all while being quite rude. when my mom asked for some kind of reimbursement the lady was ignoring till my mom asked to speak to someone and the manager came and offered 10% which honestly didn't feel okay after the full hassle we went through!! he was getting mad and angry at my mom for being unhappy with her service we will not be coming here again. read more

First time here today. My entire "deluxe" pedi lasted 16 mins total. And that's the "deluxe"!! The most expensive one! I cannot even imagine what the basic one would be like...Right away I could tell he was rushing. Tapping one foot or the other to rush me to bring them up or put them back in the water. I was very excited to come here because this is my first pedi in a long time due to Covid! Sadly, I am highly dissapointed. He didn't even rub my feet! I have never had that at any nail salon! I wasn't sure what I wanted to have done when I went into Hudson Nails, but my Nail Technician, Be, gave me advice as to what she thought would look good. I get gel polish on my nails, and she told me that using gel keeps your nail strong, where as the fake nails weaken your nail. She was extremely nice; I will be going back! read more

I had an appointment with Tim, showed up 5 minutes early and checked in by giving my name, and specifically telling the lady I had an appointment with Tim at 3:30pm. Around 4pm, he comes over and takes the person sitting next to me for her appointment. I mentioned again that I had an appointment with Tim, and he started yelling across the busy salon, "You didn't tell me that, you need to tell me you have appointment. I'm not doing your nails today. Don't have time." Incredibly rude and unprofessional, and caused a scene. I was astounded by the lack of consideration. It is standard practice to check a client's name and appointment time upon taking them back for their service. On top of already waiting 30 additional minutes for him to be available for my scheduled appointment, with no apology. I will not be supporting this business. Meh. For the price...I've had much better. Another place that just wants your money. I've never had one person soak my feet, no other treatments, though I paid for a deluxe, and then another tech come to paint my pedi, with another high pressure for an upgrade. I specifically asked for some callous treatment (my feet are in good shape, not gross), and was ignored. Also paid for my boyfriend's pedi, and asked for a simple buff on his toenails- woman acted as if she didn't know what I asked for and slapped some clear polish on his feet. Lame. read more

I've been back a few more times over the summer and I'm still very pleased with Hudson Nails. Most recently, I had a french mani pedi, 1 week ago. It was about $50. The nails still look good as new. I've been super hard on my mani, about 40 hours of typing, plus gardening, cleaning house, etc and no chips, peeling or discoloration whatsoever. Both of my nail techs were male this time. One guy did my hands, another one did my toes. No pressure to up sell, just a polite inquiry if I would like plain or nail art, and a menu to select from for pedi, I chose the basic which still included massage chair, soak, scrub, leg and foot massage, etc. Only drawback is everyone chattering constantly among themselves in a foreign language and acting like the customers are just hands and feet to work on, like they are working on mannequins. They all can speak English, they just choose to have private conversations among themselves. read more

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. I got gel polish the first time and the service was nice but it started peeling within 3 days. I went back to get it taken off and they used the nail drill to get the gel off instead of soaking it, totally ruined my nails! Now they're so thin and terribly ragged. When I walked into the store I was greeted and seated right away. The lady who did my acrylic nails was extremely fast and paid attention to detail. If you're going in for one treatment expect to be offered more. They will try to up sell you. However the prices are so reasonable that you can allow to treat yourself for multiple treatments for the same price as what one would cost else where.
