Melissa (sorry a I didn't get her last name) is always pleasant and extremely helpful in person or on the phone. I've stood in line and know first hand customers can be very rude. Another associate , last name Rieth is also always pleasant. Establishment's like this need to keep store shelves filled, medications on hand, cleaned and maintained, even when short staffed without the benefit of cutting back on products or hours to ease the work load. For that reason alone, and many others, people need to cut them some slack and offer some gratitude.

My husband started to pump gas thinking it was $2.45 a gallon but he noticed at the pump it said $2.89 so he only put in $25 worth. This town is king of subway locations, that and super walmarts. I went to one down the street on a friday night, CLOSED at 8pm. I went to one in the Superwalmart. CLOSED. I was so enraged for not having my subway that I was ready to kill judging from my road rage. Then by some divine intervention, I was reminded that there is one in this gas station! an angel whispered it into my ear. This one can get busy at times with townies and other off campus students. I won't tell you what I usually get cuz it might sound vomit inducing to you commoners but GUESS WHAT??? It's DELICIOUS!!! and beats my mother's cooking... sometimes my dad's. Oh yeah, this one is one of the nicer speedways in my westcoast snobbery opinion. All the other ones look run down and used up.This one closes by 11pm. I waited for 10 minutes at the window to pick up a prescription and nobody acknowledged that I was there. Katie was on the phone and I asked if someone was going to help. With a smirk on her face, she said "I'm on the phone." No "I'm sorry. I'll be with you in a moment." Or, "I'm sorry for the wait but we are so busy. I'll be with you soon." Nothing. She hang up with whoever she was talking and said "we are busy." I said that I would change pharmacies because it is not the first time she has talked to me that way. She said "That is your choice and good luck. All the pharmacies are busy." When I get the prescription they are working on at this location I will change pharmacies, since they don't need my business. I don't need them either. It won't be another Walgreens.

When I get shots at other places, I always get really nervous about the needles--like how much they hurt. But whenever I go to Walgreen's I can even look at the needles when they put them in my skin. Special shout-outs to Katie and Amy because they are REALLY good at giving shots. I never feel the needles when they do it. (Well, of course, sometimes I feel it.) I recommend you try Walgreen's for all shots! Also, they have a lot of prescriptions--both pills and gummies--making it easy for kids to take them. I've seen the shelves before and I've seen like hundreds of prescriptions. So whenever you need a prescription, just go right to Walgreen's and get it.
