When I finally got into grad school at Notre Dame, The Huddle still had a lot of its charm. It now looks like the convenience stores on other college campuses, although it still looks really small, and they still have a quirky selection of, well, everything. Establishment's like this need to keep store shelves filled, medications on hand, cleaned and maintained, even when short staffed without the benefit of cutting back on products or hours to ease the work load. For that reason alone, and many others, people need to cut them some slack and offer some gratitude.

We stepped inside the store looking for a light bite and they had a small selection of premade sandwiches, chips, candy etc. But we did t see anything that appealed to us. The store inside was so very clean but had a strong cleaning solution smell. To be fair one of the employees looked like she was mopping in the back room so the order may have been lingering for the moment. My husband started to pump gas thinking it was $2.45 a gallon but he noticed at the pump it said $2.89 so he only put in $25 worth. Posting on behalf of 11-year-old Spencer after a successful visit to get five shots:…read more Five stars for the shots!  Whenever I go to Walgreen's, it's really not that hard to get shots. When I get shots at other places, I always get really nervous about the needles--like how much they hurt. But whenever I go to Walgreen's I can even look at the needles when they put them in my skin. Special shout-outs to Katie and Amy because they are REALLY good at giving shots. I never feel the needles when they do it. (Well, of course, sometimes I feel it.) I recommend you try Walgreen's for all shots! Also, they have a lot of prescriptions--both pills and gummies--making it easy for kids to take them. I've seen the shelves before and I've seen like hundreds of prescriptions. So whenever you need a prescription, just go right to Walgreen's and get it.
