Cold Southwestern Bowl

I ordered ahead and showed up when it told me to. I could see my food on the counter but the only person to address me insisted I sign the waitlist for a table and stand outside. After telling her I am just here to pick up, she told me it will be a minute. Ten minutes later I finally get someone's attention and had to interrupt them to tell them my food is sitting right there and is already paid. I live less than ten minutes away from home, by the time I get there, all of it is barely luke warm. I wasn't expecting it to be fresh and hot, but almost cold is unacceptable. I highly recommend not going here. I imagine the food is decent when prepared properly, but it isn't worth the horrible service.

Arianna was my server and she was great, love being greeted by happy people! I don't eat a lot but they wouldn't allow an adult to order a child's meal (always ask just in case) so half is taken to go. I ordered the standard grits, eggs and sausage with toast and it was good. Everything was cooked to my expectations. Arianna kept my coffee filled, that's always been my cue for an awesome server!I would defy return as the place was clean and friendly.

Another 5 star review all because of hot and tasty food served by our most favorite waitress Sam. She is just simply awesome sauceyness! The food is served fast and hot to your specific order, the drinks are always refilled promptly with Sam's neverending smile and with a "To Go" cup at the end of the meal. Hospitality at its finest. This HH is right in the middle of road construction central so if you decide you cant take the traffic and need to have a quick bite, swing over and say hello to Sam and the ladies and leave a good tip to the hard working ladies that make hot, tasty daily food and evening sober up food.

Best comfort food! Open 24/7 great food, great staff, membership gets you coupons by email (which you need to print and bring with you). Check out their T-shirts. The one I purchased reads "You're Bacon Me Crazy" (See pic). Not my first huddle. I have had the Huddleburger, the Philly cheese steak omelette, and the Patty Melt. Not many quality places where you can get breakfast anytime. Just knowing this warms my stomach. Kids menu, desserts, specialty beverages, southern biscuit platters, breakfast, lunch and dinner platters, yeah buddy! This evening we were lucky to have as our server Mary who was excellent in making all of our food to order. In addition she was friendly and we had a great conversation with her. She said she usually works on the graveyard shift so you will be fortunate if you Huddle on that shift.

Service was great! I got a to go order and waited at the counter. Bree (pretty sure that's her name) waited on me, and was very attentive. She took my money so I could leave as soon as the food was ready. In true Huddle House fashion, it was cooked up quickly and with pizazz. The cook was flipping things and having a bit of fun! Four stars because the cheeseburger had no flavor. They use frozen patties, and while it's my issue ordering a burger at a breakfast place, it's on the menu, so some spices would have been nice (salt, pepper, etc...) My son enjoyed the MVP, and the traditional waffle that my little one wanted was just right.

Simple order but took over hour to get!

Food was mid. Waffle house is way better. Server took 10 years to bring the bill and it wasn't even busy. Never again.

Denise and the cooks at our local Huddle House are awesome. Always crowded but the service and food are excellent. They run a tight ship.

Flavorful, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, and the sausage gravy to die for. Really enjoyed the biscuits!!! Two others in the group had the omelet with side of grits. Again, amazing grits (not a food I grew up with but certainly came to love when cooked correctly) and delicious eggs n cheese. Do not be put off with the exterior!! It is an old gas station, converted to an amazing breakfast and lunch spot. I normally come for lunch, chicken made perfectly with amazing sides! The coffee is always perfect. Service is mostly you serve yourself. Coffee, creamers, drinks, butter, napkins, cutlery, ice, water, all available at the back of the shop. The people at the order station are ALWAYS so nice and welcoming. Just a great place for breakfast and lunch. I come back every time we are in the area.

The team members were politely social and regularly checked on their tables. I wasn't sure if I had to wait or could seat myself. So, I walked in and moved toward the breakfast bar but was seated by one of the owners, Celine (I hope that I spelled it right.) I ordered an egg, soft scrambled, turkey sausage with grits, a pancake and a cup of decaf coffee. The pancake was LARGE . I knew that I wasn't going to finish, and I was right! I reckon it's standard not to season eggs, but would that include the water for grits? A suggestion: try cooking the grits in broth to enhance the flavor! That's it. Celine shared that she and Mark have owned the restaurant for the past 3 of the 35-year history. She jokes that he looks like Guy Fieri and he quips that he's better looking. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. I plan to try their lunch menu, soon.
