The worst tasting food, minimal service and RIDICULOUSLY HIGH prices. The hash browns tasted like old grease. They arrived barely warm. The portions were scant at best. The biscuit and gravy had no taste even after adding salt and pepper. The waffle tasted like old grease. The pancake was lukewarm. Everything but one pancake and part of the waffle was left uneaten on the table. The waitress never checked back with us once she delivered our food. The cook was coughing (grossly congested!!) while cooking at the grill. We do not recommend this location! We ordered 2 orders of hash browns, 1 order of (2) pancakes, 1 biscuit w/gravy, 1 waffle, 3 sodas. It. Was. Disgusting! I will be contacting corporate. We were not given a ticket to see pricing, our "waitress" never returned to our table. We checked out up front and so we don't know what we were charged for! We were anxious to leave with all the hacking )coughing) going on behind the counter! The total for all of this inedible food was $42.20!! Not worth it! Exactly what you expect from a small southern dining experience day or night. As a local, I'm guilty of taking for granted our local Huddle House. The staff here almost seems like family. Sometimes I just like watching them interact with the "new" folks. Their attitudes, teamwork, and positivity is what makes this place special. If you're having a bad day? Swing in.... If Antonio or Tina is at the grill you're in for an absolute treat! Whatever you order is gonna come out better than the pics on the menu itself! The waitresses are all dimes... so I'd hate to call out just one, but whether you're just wanting somewhere to come in and unwind, need a pick me up and some friendly faces, or are just plain hungry.... This is your place like so many of our local establishments! I went in last Saturday and my family and I are not from around here but whenever we see a huddle house we always stop by , I ordered the MVP breakfast and everything was perfect except for my eggs I told my waitress, tasha I think was her name (she was amazing )and she got her manger to come over and talk with us , after I explained how I wanted my eggs (dry not burnt but well done) Mrs.Tammy cooked then herself and they where probably the best eggs I've ever eaten literally just like my mom use to Make them ... Wow just amazing service. The manager Antonio literally checks on everyone that comes in. He is everywhere I've never seen anyone like that before Huddle House is lucky to have him. When me and my family came in yesterday it was his birthday he had the biggest smile. We love watching him it's always a great experience coming in. I finally tried the French toast that he offered the last 3 times Ive came and omg best food ever. Now one of my top favorites. Service was great food was even better. The food was delicious! The most amazing Ribeye I have ever had! I could not believe it was cooked so perfect because I am picky about my ribeye! It was incredible. The server was outstanding. The serving staff was so friendly and helpful to everyone. The store was clean and very comfortable. It was really cold outside and the temperature inside was perfect! I love coming to New Albany Huddle House for one main reason and that is because of one amazing person in particular which is Brittney Kate Jarvis. That girl is always welcoming, on top of her game, and is always making sure myself and everyone else is taken care of. Our family came into Huddle House for the first time in a long time and we were impressed. Came in and was greeted by Marsha the server. Marsha brought our drinks and took our order and when the food came out it looked delicious. Our server was attentive, reviewed our order prior to submitting. Food came out hot with no errors or sending it back. It had good flavor and nice presentation.
