Enough choices for bourbon, some good drafts, and a deliciously made dry martini (along with a coffee for our tea toatler yesterday) started is off. There was a nice selection of specials for the day...some of which only a true southerner could appreciate (fruit gel topped with mayo, tomato spicy over cottage cheese topped with mayo) and some like cream of broccoli soup and steak boardelaise that even a yank could appreciate. Our table settled on two orders of fried catfish which came with a choice of two sides...baked potato and coleslaw were the choices. One of our diners choose the fried chicken livers that came with cream gravy...she chose the broccoli soup and corn pudding as her sides. Our tea toatler chose the country fried steak. I will term you that everyone cleaned their plates...it was that good.
