Aperol Spritz?! Really? Bartender needs to take a class or five on making cocktails. Not a good start.
Lori P.

Look at the picture of the "Aperol Spritz". The bartender should be retrained immediately. How this is even allowed to be served to a customer is beyond me. At least try. The burger was luke warm. I ordered it medium and received very well done. The 2 stars is for the great server who did her best with what she was given. The low quality of the products received was highly disappointing and should be embarrassing to this "restaurant".

A sleek, classy hangout in Danville, KY. The drinks and the ambiance are the main draw here. They make their own spirits on site, and the main spirit is caipirinha, which originates in Brazil, and is a natural sugar drink. The drinks are clean, crisp, and tasty. The appetizers are the main attraction here. The prosciutto and potato flat bread, smoked salmon toast, and Buffalo cauliflower were excellent. The deviled eggs were pretty bland. Most of our party got the Still burger, which is their big draw. We all ordered our burger medium and they came out well done. The flavors were ok. Fries were crisp and aioli sauce was cool and made for a great contrast. My husband had the arugula salad, which he found crisp and light and tart. Servers were overworked, but very kind, hospitable, and as efficient as they could be. We made reservations online through OpenTable and it would let us make a reservation for four, but not five. But when we arrived, many tables were empty and stayed empty the whole time. So that was frustrating. There is live entertainment on many nights. I would return here, especially for entertainment and drinks.

We had no idea this place existed until an add popped up on Facebook. We had been driving by for years looking at this vodka distillery on a hill and realized a restaurant was hidden behind it. I was today years old when I learned what cachaca was. It is a Brazilian spirit made from distilled sugarcane juice. The food is phenomenal; the atmosphere is relaxing.

Tuna taco

This is a very unique and upscale restaurant. There is a lot of truly unique dishes and drinks. The food was amazing, tuna tacos, chicken breast, and ruban burger were impressive and uniquely tasteful. Service was top notch and goes along with everything else. This place is well worth coming to and I would recommend it.

Great food, drinks and bartender! I had the yummy pork chop. Other customers confirmed all menu items were delicious.

Steak entree with chimichutti on the side.

This was a really good dinner. We went into it with reservations on how good it would be. We've been disappointed far too many times when we have heard of a good restaurant. This one came with good recommendations. We ordered for appetizer toasted salmon. It was good but I prefer my toast not burnt. For out entree we ordered the steak and the pork chop. We both opted for the sauce on the side and I'm so glad we did. The entrees needed no sauce. We also got the Mac and cheese which was amazing. I highly recommend this tea. They grow their own veggies and the bartender does a spectacular job of getting exactly what you like.

Happened upon this place thru the OpenTable app and decided to try it for a date night. Loved the decor and ambiance. Our server was really knowledgeable about the drinks and the menu. Food was delicious Highly recommend the passion fruit cachacas We will definitely be back Also around 8pm they had some live music which was very entertaining

Very relaxing atmosphere the night I went. Unique and tasty choices with a very knowledgeable and engaging bartender.

Restaurant wasn't busy. Service was average, we probably would have ordered appetizers had the server just described what they had. Otherwise their twist on the lemon drop was tasty and the Argentinean Shrimp salad with wild Argentinean shrimp, palm hearts, tomatoes & mango on bed of greens w/ Miso Vinaigrette was unique, the shrimp was over cooked but that is easy to do. Overall the experience was good just not great, when I'm back in the area I may stop back by, there are a few other menu items that I would like like to try.

Great atmosphere and service. Quality in everything they do. What a breath of fresh air. This place would hold its own in Nashville. Food and drinks are top notch. A great Bloody Mary, Irish coffee and dirty martini. Ask for Matthew to make the best ever martini!

Salmon BLT
Kintrey G.

This was the first time I've had a salmon BLT and it was amazing. The Chef did an arugula pesto that was light and perfect for the salmon. My Dad had the Still Burger and he says it's just delicious and almost better than his lol. The hostess/server was wonderful, very friendly and pleasant to talk to.

Much ado about nothing! Limited menu, prices kind of high! This place to be considered Brazilian, but there no Brazilian food what so ever!

However, it was the most expensive gift shop of all the distilleries we went to on our trip. Also, I personally did the dipping experience, and the staff was unfriendly and rude, left with a bad taste in my mouth. Without a doubt, she is the best tour guide we have ever had. From the moment the tour began, Laura's personality lit up the entire experience. She struck the perfect balance between being informative and entertaining, sharing the rich history and craftsmanship behind Maker's Mark while keeping everyone fully engaged. Her sense of humor and perfectly timed jokes made the day not only educational but genuinely fun and memorable. You can tell Laura truly loves what she does, and that passion comes through in every part of the tour. She made us feel welcomed, valued, and like we were part of something special. The Golden Ticket Tour is already a unique experience, but Laura elevated it to a whole different level. If you're planning a visit to Maker's Mark, we can't recommend this tour enough--and if you're lucky enough to have Laura as your guide, you're in for an unforgettable day!

The distillation aromas in the air are intoxicating. We arranged a tour of the facility in combination with a river cruise on the Kentucky River. We signed in for our tour early, so we could shop in the distillery gift shop. I spent several hundred dollars in the gift shop buying special bourbons that you can only purchase at the distillery. I even bought Buffalo Trace dog treats. Plan at least an hour for shopping as lines are long. Fred was our tour guide. Fred was knowledgeable, humorous, interesting and passionate about Buffalo Trace. We learned the history of the distillery, saw how barrels are made, transported and stored and saw the bottling process for the Blanton bourbons. We concluded our tour with a tasting of four bourbons and a sample Kentucky Bourbon Ball. Unfortunately, the tasting was a bit rushed for us. The bourbons were good and I would have liked to make additional purchases after the tasting, but we were not able to because of the timeline for the river cruise. Parking is free. The line to check ids is long but moves quickly. There are restrooms available. I'm told dogs and kids are welcome with some restrictions, but I didn't see any. The tour of Buffalo Trace should be on every bourbon drinker or history buff's bucket list. I want to go back.

The initial impression as you pull into Wild Turkey is that this is a manufacturing and industrial site first and foremost. While that does take away from the initial "wow factor" as a guest, it is understandable. Once you get past that, you arrive at the visitor center, which has a view that is absolutely incredible and outdoor amenities that would make hanging out there quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, the inside experience at the gift shop left much to be desired. We did not do the tour, so this is only based on the visitor center and retail experience. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly face and directed toward the gift shop. The bartender was friendly, but the other three employees had their heads buried in their phones and did not seem concerned with our experience or offering help. While that may not be unexpected in some places, at a location like this, especially after visiting Buffalo Trace earlier in the day, it felt very subpar. The bottle selection on the shelf was fairly standard and did not feel much different from what I could find at a local liquor store. Some prices also seemed higher than local shops. Of the 15+ bottles we purchased today, none were from here. We considered trying a flight or a few samples, but the prices felt more reminiscent of a downtown bar than a distillery tasting experience. While we were not on a budget, the feeling of being overcharged deterred us from moving forward with the samples we had been interested in. I will not say that I would never go back, but I would not put this at the top of our Bourbon Trail list either, unless maybe for the views and a picnic.
