Crispy Chicken Sandwich had a breadcrumb coated chicken breast. The main flavor in the coating was pepper. The chicken itself was moist and tasted like it was marinated in a brine. Despite being very crispy outside, the inside was moist. Came in a soft sweet bun that was nicely toasted, with slices of red onions, lots of pickles and a slice or tomato on the side. The Hamburger Deluxe came with the same sweet bun. Good size burger patty tasted pretty fresh. The french fries was fresh cut potatoes. A bit oily but good. Pretty cool place with a digital jukebox, a coin operated digital dart board that you can play for 25cents and a poker table. Looks like patrons are regular locals with a group of them playing poker and hanging out at the bar. The restaurant was in a small town. This is a must stop place for a great experience. Directions from Yelp shows that it's on the left side of the street but it's actually on the right if you're going towards Main St.

A surprise on my bill (not necessarily the restaurant's fault) was the resort tax to cap a meal that was already overpriced. A resort... in Craig, Montana??? Go figure...

Buttery, creamy, delicious...edamame, spinach, chickpeas and chicken. Never had linguine served like this and it is the best one I've ever had. The ribs and fried grits are a MUST TRY! The savory glaze, that gritty crunch and the fall of the bone ribs are tasty! The Montanan cocktail was an added treat, it was a perfect blend along with the carrot cake we ended our night with! Service is impeccable! The gal who managed the dining area was quick to bring waters, take our order, deliver our orders fresh. And did so while the dining area was fairly full! The vibe in this place is fun and seemed like a popular spot amongst the locals. It is kept clean and well maintained. The patio area is spacious and dog-friendly. There is a bar area but we haven't made our way into that area yet. But we definitely plan to visit again and try other menu items! The ambience was def lacking, but it was also expected. The bench seats were worn and our butts sank to the wood beneath the plastic/vinyl covering. There were flies inside. So be it. From New York to London to Las Vegas, around the world really, we always eat at the best places we can find, and Benny's compares well to the very best of them. Every course, every dish was amazing. The professionalism and knowledge of the staff was top notch. We particularly liked that the ingredients were locally sourced as much as possible, with seasonal selection on the menu. That quality of ingredients was evident in the dishes. Cannot say enough, with our only disappointment being that we do not live in Helena so we won't be able to eat there as often as we would like.
