When it came time for delivery, my baby had other plans and I ended up needing a C-section. Thankfully, Dr. Nickel had already taken the time to explain everything to me beforehand so that when the moment came, it wasn't scary or rushed. Because of his preparation and clear communication, my C-section went smoothly and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Leading up to delivery & after delivery I appreciated his check ins, it was nice to see a friendly face around! The nurses and staff at his practice are also absolutely outstanding. They were so kind, attentive, and just wonderful to be around--it really makes all the difference. This is the ultrasound experience all pregnant people deserve. After parking in a free spot in the garage, we followed clear directions to the clean, well-lit lobby space and checked in with a friendly, highly competent staff member who got us into a room with no wait. Vitals were taken by a friendly and thoughtful nurse and then we were walked to an ultrasound room with no wait. The technician was superb - clearly narrating every step of the process, checking in to see if we had any questions, asking appropriate questions of us, and offering to take another photo of our choice since we had time left at the end of the required scan elements. The doctor then came in within three minutes and acted patient and interested - not as if he were impatient. He went through the results clearly and respectfully and again welcomed questions. I was 100% satisfied and would recommend to any person seeking a prenatal ultrasound.

Even though my son was put on life support, Dr Aversa visited him in the hospital every day; which all of the nurses said was unheard of. I was there 24/7 for the 57 days my son was there and Dr Aversa was a great help in some of the issues that were faced. He went so far as to talk to the President of Good Sam in order to get my son approved for Physical Therapy there so he wouldn't have to go to a nursing home. Once my son was released, he went to his first Dr appt with Aversa and he couldn't get up off the low chair so a nurse came out to help me. Instead of her pulling him straight up, as I asked, she pulled him off the chair (by accident of course). Dr Aversa was out in the waiting room with 5 other people to help my son get off the floor. Mind you, my son is very heavy and it took a lot to try to help him. At one point, Dr Aversa saw people in the waiting room staring and took the time to turn around and address the onlookers by stating that my son is a 'very brave young man that lived through a great ordeal'. Everyone stopped staring and that is the best thing about Dr Aversa... his compassion. My family will never forget what he did for our son that day. The staff is awesome too.. His nurse, Heather, is a sweetheart and so helpful!

This is a nice clinic in Auburn. Located close to the main street and next to more than one other…read moremajor healthcare building. Parking is available on the street and there is more than one parking garage nearby. If you park in one of the lots there are a few designated spots for this clinic and they (they clinic) ask you to give them your vehicle info when you come in so they know you are parked there. That is probably the only sort of unusual thing about this clinic. Staff is very friendly and professional and everyone here will go out of their way to help you to the best of their ability.
